Experimental duo Vapor Vespers have released their sophomore album titled, Ghosts Before Breakfast and announced a few upcoming tour dates this May.
Ghosts Before Breakfast is the group’s second long-playing release, the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed 2020 debut, One Act Sonix. The sophomore album consists of 10 music-driven spoken word tracks. The duo will be supporting the release of their new album with select shows in New York City and the Hudson Valley this May.
Vapor Vespers is the brainchild of NYC-based multi-instrumentalist/producer Sal Cataldi and award-winning playwright, actor, and slam poet Mark Muro. The duo’s latest collection ups the ante on the cool grooves, intense guitar riffage, synth textures and the verbal hijinks and narrative absurdity showcased on their debut. The duo takes performative arts to the next level by blending intense spoken word with progressive and electrifying hypno-funk.
The Vapor Vespers are also holding mini-sets during performance by Cataldi’s Spaghetti Eastern Music at Silvana Harlem on May 23. Further, the duo sees the stage at Pangea in the East Village on May 25. More shows may be added.
Ghosts Before Breakfast was produced, engineered and mastered by Sal Cataldi aboard his houseboat in Port Washington, Long Island. The album covers themes of sex, mystery, art, literature, love, and themselves. The duo expels sound that are everything but standard. Some of their sound includes electro-funk, experimental synth, progressive, jazz and more.

The Commodores and The Pointer Sisters have teamed up for a sensational co-headlining tour: An Evening of Icons, which will stop at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on July 25.
These musical icons are ready to wow audiences with their unique fusion of funk, soul, R&B, and pop. Their career spans decades, and they have sold over 100 million albums and an array of chart-topping hits. To add even more magic to the mix, they’re welcoming special guests, The Spinners.
The Commodores are the powerhouse behind classics like “Brick House” and “Easy.” They’re delighted to perform alongside The Pointer Sisters, especially in light of Motown’s 65th anniversary. This tour celebrates the enduring power of music, as their timeless hits continue to bring people together across generations.
Meanwhile, The Pointer Sisters, who have achieved success with hits like “I’m So Excited” and “Jump (For My Love),” are just as thrilled to collaborate. They are preparing to give a show that will keep the audience talking long after the curtains close. The sisters added, “65 years of Motown and timeless hits! What a milestone. It’s a joy to be touring with a true Motown treasure, The Commodores. Here’s to the music that continues to move generations!”
This tour, presented by Live Nation and represented by the renowned Seth Shomes of Day After Day Productions (DADP), will begin with a bang on Thursday, July 25 at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater. Heavy metal band GWAR has announced the “Age of Entitlement” Tour coming to ravage the US in June and September. The tour sees a single date in New York at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo.
GWAR embarks on the “Age of Entitlement” Tour for two more legs of 2024 headline dates in support of their most recent album New Dark Ages. This summer, the band has enlisted drug metal addicts WEEDEATER along with the dangerous cop rock of X-COPS as support. The summer leg of the “The Age of Entitlement” kicks off on June 7th in Hartford, Connecticut, and wraps on June 17th in Tampa, Florida.
In September, GWAR will go out again to further their devastation, this time with brutal Latin American death grinders Brujeria. Joining them is grindcore band BRAT, and the hardcore punk/metal evangelists Cancer Christ. That leg gets going on September 12 in Buffalo, New York, and comes to a close on September 20 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
To say that GWAR is anything remotely standard is a heinous accusation. This group is unique to say the least. Their brutal, gut-wrenching outfits coupled with their mind-crushing, maniacal metal is an experience to behold that transcends music.
The metal that GWAR releases onto the audience is something to feel for yourself in person. The stage presence of this band is second to none. It is surely an experience you won’t or can’t forget. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM local time. Pre-sale tickets are available now through Thursday at 10:00 PM local time.

“This is an incredible time in the history of the world, so much death and destruction in the face of so much senseless entitlement and arrogant darkness. We cannot wait to shock some sense into humanity with the most outrageous performance of heavy metal theater ever to descend from the gods.”

On the heels of back-to-back chart topping albums, Future and Metro Boomin will be bringing live performances to an arena near you after announcing a “We Trust You” North American tour, with a performance at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center set for the summer.
Notably, Future and and frequent collaborator/ producer Metro Boomin took the internet by storm with the release of We Don’t Trust You on March 22, creating plenty of social media fodder with disses to Drake littered throughout the album, including the heavily deliberated Kendrick Lamar verse aimed at Drake and J. Cole. Less than 3 weeks later the duo made more waves with the release of a second, double-album in We Still Don’t Trust You, serving as melodic counter to the heavily trap influenced predecessor. In like manner, the latter is expected to have high first-week numbers in another chart-topping effort from the prolific duo.
Future and Metro Boomin’s “We Trust You” tour comes to Brooklyn this summer.
“We Trust Your Tour” Details
Thus, the duo announce their “We Trust You Tour” that will see them perform throughout the United States along with two notable dates in Canada roughly a month apart, including an August 11 stop in Drake’s hometown of Toronto. Presented by Live Nation, the “We Trust You Tour” begins on July 30 and will see the duo perform 27 dates in roughly a month-and-a-half. Moreover, they will bring the show to the Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with an August 15 date in New York City, before closing out the tour in Canada with a September 9 performance in Vancouver. Other notable stops include performances in Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Presale tickets for the “We Trust You Tour” are available Wednesday, April 17 for Cash App card customers, starting at 10 a.m. local time. Additionally, general sale will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. local time on livenation.com.
