  • Twenty One Pilots Announce Clancy World Tour, Coming to Barclays Center

GRAMMY Award-winning duo Twenty One Pilots announced the details for their biggest global headline tour, The Clancy World Tour, coming to Barclays Center on Sept. 18, 2024.

The duo shared their new song “Next Semester,” from their highly-anticipated forthcoming album, Clancy, which will be released on May 17 via Fueled By Ramen. Having amassed over 33 billion streams worldwide and over three million tickets sold across global headline tours, the Columbus, OH-based duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have established themselves as one of the most successful bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation.

They even notched dozens of multi-platinum certifications and claimed a spot in the Guinness® Book of World Records. Historically, their quadruple-platinum breakout LP, Blurryface, took flight as “the first album to notch a RIAA Gold or Platinum certification for every one of its songs,” while Vessel followed suit. They are one of only 18 artists to earn multiple RIAA Diamond certifications, going Diamond with “Stressed Out” and “Heathens.” 2018’s Platinum-certified Trench extended the concept from Blurryface with the platinum singles “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and the GRAMMY Award-nominated “Jumpsuit.” They followed Trench with their Gold-certified LP Scaled And Icy, achieving “the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021” by capturing #1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts and crashing the Top 3 of the Billboard 200.

Last month, Twenty One Pilots returned with news of Clancy and released the album’s lead single “Overcompensate” alongside an accompanying video. The track rocketed up the Alternative Radio chart, currently sitting at Top 5, and made a massive impact upon launch as it welcomed listeners to the band’s immersive world of Trench.

Clancy is currently available for pre-order in two limited-edition deluxe box sets, four vinyl variants with additional retailer exclusives, an exclusive CD + Journal Book and a Cassette + Photocard Wallet, and much more.

Fans can participate in an official artist presale for tickets beginning on April 2 with all remaining tickets available during the general sale at 10 AM on Friday, April 5. For tickets and complete details for Twenty One Pilots’ The Clancy World Tour visit here.

  • The Chesterfield Kings Release Rockin’ “Meet You After Midnight”

Garage rockers The Chesterfield Kings announced the release of their latest single, “Meet You After Midnight.” The band also announced their first live shows in over 15 years.

The Chesterfield Kings formed in the late 70s, heavily influenced by the bluesy and rugged sounds of the 60s. The group hails from Rochester and has toured for decades but hasn’t since the early 2000s.

The single is reminiscent of 60s bands like The Doors, Beach Boys, The Who, and more. The Chesterfield Kings add an element of that ’70s dirty garage sound as well. The track feels like entering a portal to the classic era of rock n roll, super well done in its instrumentation, lyricism, and catchiness.

The band plans to tour for five dates across the US beginning March 16 and wrapping up March 22. The tour stops in Austin, Los Angeles, Pheonix, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

Catch The Chesterfield Kings on the The Wicked Cool Records Revue!, presented by Hard Rock and Little Steven’s Underground Garage, which marks the fabled garage rockers’ first live shows in over 15 years.

  • Roger Daltrey Announces Special Acoustic Tour Coming to Bethel Woods and Port Chester

Roger Daltrey – legendary rock icon and co-founder of one of music’s most inspirational and influential forces, The Who – will return to the States on a special solo tour this June, presenting a mostly acoustic set of Who gems, rarities, solo works, and other surprises. He will appear at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on June 16, and at The Capitol Theatre on June 18.

With an intimate rock-based band and setting and answering questions from the audience, this exclusive set of shows will continue throughout June. Special guests for the much-anticipated performances include GRAMMY-nominated Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall and acclaimed, offbeat singer/songwriter Dan Bern.

Roger Daltrey hand-picked an ensemble of musicians to join him that includes Simon Townshend – guitar, Billy Nicholls – mandolin, Jody Linscott – percussion, Doug Boyle – guitar, John Hogg – Bass, Katie Jacoby – violin, Steve Weston – harmonica, Geraint Watkins – keyboards/accordion, and Scott Devours – Drums.

Daltrey was inducted into the Rock and Hall of Fame with The Who in 1990, received a Lifetime Achievement award from the GRAMMY Foundation with the band in 2001, and received Kennedy Center Honors in 2008. Considered to have one of the most recognizable singing voices of all time, Planet Rock listeners voted him Rock’s fifth-greatest voice in music history. Known for his magnetic presence and rebellious creative spirit, Daltrey has been an actor and producer with multiple roles in films, theatre, and television.

He’s released ten solo studio albums, including the acclaimed discs Daltrey, Ride a Rock HorseOne of the Boys, and the 2018 release As Long As I Have You, and such hit singles as “I’m Free,” “Giving It All Away,” “Without Your Love,” “Free Me” and “After the Fire.” Queen Elizabeth awarded him a CBE for his service to music and charity in 2004.

Daltrey is the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Honorary Patron and co-founder of Teen Cancer America (with Pete Townshend). On March 15, Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler released a new, special recording of his composition, “Going Home (Theme From Local Hero)” featuring over 60 of the finest rock performers ever assembled on one iconic track, including members of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen, Black Sabbath, Rush, Guns N’ Roses, and many more. The milestone release, currently available to order, will raise funds for Teen Cancer America and its UK equivalent Teenage Cancer Trust.

In crafting this completely new show set to kick off in June 2024, Daltrey looks forward to unveiling one of his more intimate and unique stage shows, an up close and personal gift to his fans that highlights Who rarities, solo hits, and other songs from his incredible near 60-year career.
