Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) is approaching its 58th season bringing music and performing arts to the Capital Region, and the beloved arts non-profit has many exciting performances in store for the 2024 season.
SPAC opened in 1966 in Saratoga Springs, and is set within a 2,400 acre park preserve just 35 miles north of New York’s capital. The non-profit hosts concerts across all genres, and boasts arts education programs across culinary, visual, and literary fields. Notable past performers include 25 concerts by Phish, 44 from Dave Matthews Band, and a legendary performance by The Grateful Dead in 1985.
Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center
SPAC will welcome the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center for two unique performances in 2024 as part of its summer residency program.
Instrumental Array, a celebration of unusual pairings in classical music, will feature three duos performing selections from Beethoven, Rossini, Britten, Duruflé, and Hummel. The groups will grace the stage at SPAC’s Spa Little Theatre on March 9.
SPAC will welcome Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Artistic Directors Wu Han and David Finckel, alongside guest violinist Chad Hoopes on May 11 to close their season. The trio will perform works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, and more, as they share their artistic expertise with the Capital Region.

BalletX
Saratoga will host BalletX, a Philadelphia-based ballet company heralded as a refreshing, expert take on a classic style. The group is deeply involved in the Philadelphia community, aiding in dance education in local public schools, facilitating community pop-up events, as well as offering open rehearsals for audiences to watch dancers perfect their skills. The company will perform works choreographed by Jorma Elo, Jamar Roberts, and Jennifer Archibald. BalletX will visit SPAC’s Spa Little Theater on March 16 and 17.
TISRA: Zakir Hussain
Zakir Hussain, alongside Sabir Khan and Debopriya Chatterjee, will visit SPAC’s Spa Little Theater on March 23. Hussain, a renowned Indian percussionist and composer, will lead the group featuring a unique combination of tabla, sarangi, and bansuri (bamboo flute) music.
Summer Concerts
Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s beautiful Amphitheater, featuring Broadview Stage, is an unbeatable summer concert experience. SPAC will host an exciting lineup of musicians on the big stage this summer.
Irish superstar Hozier will play at SPAC on May 19 as part of The Unreal Unearth Tour across North America. Hozier’s third studio album of the same name released on August 18 to massive success, and he continues to tour supporting the new release.
Parker McCollum will make a stop at SPAC on his Burn It Down Tour on May 24. Alongside special guest Corey Kent, the country star will be promoting his newest album, Never Enough, and recent single release, “Burn It Down.”

Lainey Wilson will visit Saratoga on June 20 as part of her Country’s Cool Again Tour, with special guests Ian Munsick and Zach Top. The Nashville-based country artist titled her style “bell bottom country,” which also served as the title of her newest album in 2022.
Former One Direction member and Irish pop star Niall Horan will play SPAC on June 21. The Show, his newest album release, drives his biggest tour since 2018, dedicating the summer months to the North American leg.
Tyler Childers will bring the Mule Pull ‘24 Tour to the SPAC stage on July 3 alongside special guests S. G. Goodman and Wayne Graham. Known for his unique combination of folk, country, and bluegrass alongside his distinct vocals, Childers will tour his brand new album Rustin’ In The Rain.
SPAC will host a Beatles tribute concert featuring Rain, a tribute group famous for their similarity and dedication to the iconic rock four-piece. Rain will play on July 17, featuring greatest hits, deep picks, and more from the Beatles’ iconic songbook.
Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago will co-headline SPAC on July 24 on their Heart & Soul Tour 2024. With a collaborative encore featuring both bands, the show will be a special night showcasing some of the country’s legendary music.
Foreigner and Styx will play the Broadview Stage at SPAC on July 30 along their Renegades & Juke Box Heroes Tour this summer. Joined by special guest John Waite, the tour will mark the bands’ last tour together with a show for the history books.
New Kids on the Block will make a stop at SPAC on their Magic of Summer 2024 Tour, reviving their 1990 tour of the same name. With special guests Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff, the group will revive old favorites, greatest hits, and more on August 11.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts will be returning this year with a variety of acts throughout the summer, with shows running between June and September.
This year, a variety of camping options are available, with two separate sites within 0.5 miles of the venue being available for tent-only camping, glamping and car and RV camping. The 16,000-person venue will feature performances from Phish, Pretty Lights, Luke Bryan, Limp Bizkit and many more.

Grammy Award-winning British heavy metal band, Megadeth, will end Bethel’s summer lineup with a bang on September 13 as a stop for their Destroy All Enemies Tour. Heavy metal band Mudvayne and metalcore band All That Remains will open up the show. Tickets are available here.
Tanglewood, the esteemed Western Massachusetts venue, has announced its lineup of performers for the 2024 Popular Artists Series part of the season, running from June 20 to August 31. The lineup includes big names like Trey Anastasio, Beck, Dispatch, and pop and R&B acts like Boyz II Men, Brandi Carlile and Jason Mraz.
Since 1936, Tanglewood has been the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and is located in Lenox Massachusetts right in the Berkshire Hills. Although Tanglewood features the BSO, the festival is not just for classic music fans. The 350,000 yearly attendees come to this venue to hear Jazz, pop, choirs and more.
This year’s Popular Artist series has a list of timeless performers. Kool & The Gang and En Vogue are set to perform on June 23, bringing back the sounds of the 70’s and 90’s. On July 16 the Pretenders will be on the stage and Grammy award winning artists Jon Batiste and James Taylor are also bringing their talent to the festival.
The festival has performances for movie lovers as well. The Boston Pops will present a John William’s film night for the second year and conductor Keith Lockhart will lead the Jurassic Park score.
With so many concert goers on the 500 acre property, there’s two buildings where performances take place.The Koussevitzky Music Shed was inaugurated in 1938 and reconstructed in 1959, making it the iconic stage that Tanglewood is most known for. This is where the BSO and Boston Pops shows are held. Seiji Ozawa Hall, a newer structure, was built in 1994. It’s received numerous architectural awards including the National American Institute of Architects Honor Award for Interior Architecture in 2000.

Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater – previously known as St. Joseph’s Health Ampitheater – has begun to announce their 2024 summer lineup of shows, which so far includes Hozier, Hank Williams Jr., Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top and more.
Originally called Lakeview Amphitheatre when first opened in 2015, the naming rights later changed to St. Joseph’s Health in 2023, and then to what it is today– Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater, just down the road from the New York State Fairgrounds.
Though St. Joseph no longer has sole rights to the venue, they continue to support music and emphasize its importance in society, stating, “Music is a healing art, and as we stated when we took on this sponsorship in 2018, we firmly believe it is an important part of the culture of our diverse community and our healing ministry.”
May 21- Hozier : Unreal Unearth Tour
Indie artist Hozier will play at Syracuse’s Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview on May 21. The singer and songwriter released his third full-length album, Unreal Unearth, on August 18 which saw an impressive success worldwide. Having made a name for himself with the prolific track “Take Me To Church” over a decade ago, Hozier has expanded his music ability and reach to new audiences. The Unreal Unearth Tour has been a huge success throughout the world, having played shows for nearly 250,000 fans and boasting an entirely live performance.

May 22 – Judas Priest : Invincible Shield Tour
After releasing their 19th studio album Invincible Shield, the British heavy metal band Judas Priest will perform at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview as part of their Invincible Shield Tour. Originally formed in Birmingham in 1969, Judas Priest consists of Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Glenn Tipton, Scott Travis and Richie Faulkner.
June 21 – Lainey Wilson
Another Louisiana native Lainey Wilson has made a name for herself because of her vocal and acting skills. She was the leading female nominee and winner at the 2023 ACM awards with Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Visual Media and Musical Event of the Year, and had previously won 2022’s Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year. She landed her first No. 1 with her renowned song, “Things A Man Oughta Know.” With her rockstar-like stage presence and raw talent, she’s sure to impress all who attend her 2024 Country’s Cool Again North American Tour.
June 26 – James Taylor and His All-Star Band
Legendary singer and songwriter James Taylor and his All-Star band will perform at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview Syracuse on June 26 as part of their tour.
Taylor is known for his covers, such as “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)” and “Handy Man”, as well as originals such as “Sweet Baby James”. The singer is also known for playing the leading role in Monte Hellman’s 1971 film Two-Lane Blacktop.
As a recording and touring artist, James is known for touching fans with his warm baritone voice and distinctive style of guitar-playing for more than 50 years, while setting a precedent to which countless young musicians have aspired. Since the release of his self-titled debut album in 1968, he has sold more than 100 million albums during the course of his successful songwriting and performing career, earning gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards.
June 28 – Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss: Outlaw Fest.
Musician Willie Nelson is bringing his iconic Outlaw Music Festival to Darien Lake this summer. The packed festival will have a show at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview Syracuse on June 28 and will feature iconic artists like Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
Willie Nelson, who was born in Texas during the Great Depression, has a career that spans the majority of his life. His debut studio album, …And Then I Wrote, was released in 1962, catapulting him into a successful career.
July 11 – Jason Aldean – Highway Desperado Tour
After a successful 40-date run in 2023, country star Jason Aldean will continue the Highway Desperado Tour in the summer of 2024 and will stop in Syracuse at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview on July 11. Aldean recently released his 11th studio album on November 3 to huge success. The 14-track record includes hit singles such as “Try That In A Small Town” and “Let Your Boys Be Country.” The latter includes a brand new music video featuring guest appearances by Aldean’s young son and daughter, and focuses on the simplicity and nature of rural childhood life.
Louisiana native Jordan Davis is known for his collaboration with Luke Bryan in 2021 with “Buy Dirt.” He now resides in Nashville, showcasing his growth as an artist in his “Damn Good Time” world tour. He took “Buy Dirt” and won Song of the Year in 2022 via the Country Music Association Awards, and only continues to grow as a musician.
July 24 – Santana and Counting Crows: Oneness Tour
Legendary guitarist Santana and Grammy-nominated band Counting Crows will perform at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview on July 24 as part of their “Oneness” tour that they announced earlier this spring.
Santana and Counting Crows promises to deliver a passionate, high-energy, and classic hits from their catalogs. Carlos Santana will provide his legendary guitar playing, while the Counting Crows get everyone jiving and singing along.
The two visionary artists’ tour will combine their minds and talents to surely prove and put on a spectacle show on July 24.
July 26 – Dan + Shay : Heartbreak On The Map Tour
The Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview Syracuse will also see country duo Dan + Shay on July 26. Dan + Shay’s mark on country music continues to grow with the release of their highly anticipated studio album, Bigger Houses in 2023.
In 2021, the duo became the first and only artist to win a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance 3x consecutively since the category’s inception. The reigning Favorite Country Duo or Group winners claimed a 3rd consecutive win for the category at the American Music Awards, where they had swept their categories in 2020, becoming the first country artist ever to win Collaboration of the Year.
July 31 – Train and REO Speedwagon – Summer Road Trip
The legendary hitmakers REO Speedwagon and Train announced earlier that they will be teaming up for the hottest co-headlining tour of the summer. Together with REO Speedwagon’s extensive collection of timeless classics and Train’s critically acclaimed catalog of global hits, the diamond-selling bands will embark on the Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour, promising an unforgettable evening of music, high energy, and fun that will appeal to all age groups. The bands will perform at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview Syracuse on July 31.
August 3 – Xscape & SWV : The Queens of R&B Tour
Following a social media teaser that sparked intense excitement among fans, the legendary groups XSCAPE and SWV have reunited for “The Queens of R&B” tour with support from MÝA, Total, and 702. When sharing the tour announcement, XSCAPE and SWV shared that “The Queens Of R&B” tour is a testament to the power of what can be accomplished when women come together with respect, admiration and undeniable talent. August 15 – ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd
ZZ Top, known for their single, “Sharp Dressed Man”, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, known for their critically-acclaimed album Pronounced‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd,’ have put their musical talents together for an unforgettable show performing across the United States, with one stop at the Amphitheater in August. You can’t miss their raw rock and roll music, sure to bring everyone to their feet.
August 24 – Hank Williams Jr.
Country Rock artist Hank Williams, Jr. first started his career by covering his father’s songs and emulating his style. At the age of 14, Williams, Jr. made his television debut in an Ed Sullivan Show episode from December 1963, where he sang a number of songs that were connected to his father. He also appeared as a guest star on Shindig later that year. In 1964, he made his recording debut with “Long Gone Lonesome Blues”, one of his father’s many classic songs. Hank Williams Jr.’s line up will also include the rock band Whiskey Myers and Ray Fulcher, a songwriter based in Harlem.
August 29 – Walker Hayes: Same Drunk Tour
Country singer Walker Hayes will perform at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview Syracuse on August 29 as part of his anticipated “Same Drunk” tour.
Hayes released the EP Country Stuff on June, 2021. Its single “Fancy Like” went viral on TikTok, peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, making it Hayes’ highest-charting release to date.
September 4 – Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper
Hard rock icon Rob Zombie will embark on his Freaks On Parade Tour by performing at the Syracuse stage on Sept. 4. Joining Rob on tour is the Detroit native Alice Cooper who delights both the crowd and his devoted followers with his unique brand of rock psycho-drama. Cooper is known for his wide range inspirations from vaudeville, garage rock, and horror films, and his ensemble puts on a theatrical production complete with electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, and boa constrictors. Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper’s tour will also be accompanied by Al Jourgensen’s band Ministry and Richard Patrick’s band Filter.
September 6 – Hootie & the Blowfish – Summer Camp with Trucks Tour
Hootie and the Blowfish will return to the road in 2024 on their Summer Camp With Trucks Tour with special guests Collective Soul and Edwin McCain. Visiting about 43 cities across the U.S. and Canada, this will mark Hootie and the Blowfish’s first full tour since 2019.
September 7 – Pitbull: Party After Dark Tour

Global superstar Pitbull will perform at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Sept. 7 as part of his anticipated upcoming Party After Dark Tour. September 13 – Killer Queen with Special Guest Voyage
Killer Queen, a tribute band from London who has been doing this for more than 25 years will hit the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Sept. 13 with special guest Voyage. Fans and critics alike have praised Voyage as the best Journey tribute band for their terrifyingly accurate rendition of the Journey catalog. Voyage takes their fans back to the ’80s era when the timeless music of Journey dominated the airwaves. The collective ability of these five guys has elevated the meaning of a tribute to a whole new level.
September 24 – Nathaniel Rateliff & TNS and My Morning Jacket
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and My Morning Jacket will co-headline their Eye to Eye Tour on September 24 in Syracuse at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview.
My Morning Jacket was hailed by The New York Times as “the kings of expand-your-mind, religious-experience rock”. The group started out as misfits from the South and have since grown to become one of the most beloved bands of their generation. Additionally, they continue to excite audiences all over the world with their hypnotic songcraft and dynamic live performances.
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, born from Denver rock clubs, have grown to be a major force in modern rock ‘n’ roll. With platinum and gold-certified records under their belt, they successfully combine critically acclaimed records with high-energy live performances.

Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater summer lineup will also include a performance by Train and REO Speedwagon on July 31 who will be performing as part of their huge 43-concert Summer Road Trip Tour. Other announced lineups include the infamous comedians Impractical Jokers set to take the stage on August 23, and Hootie & the Blowfish who will perform on July 31 as part of their Summer Camp With Trucks Tour.

This summer, Canandaigua’s Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC), will feature 18 shows starting in May through August. The CMAC 2024 roster features artists spanning from rock to country, welcoming fans of all genres.
Grammy-nominated folk-rock band, The Avett Brothers, are kicking off CMAC’s 2024 season with their summer tour for the band’s brand new self-titled album released on May 17. Joining them as a guest is country and bluegrass artist Sierra Ferrell.
Zach Brown Band- June 2 at 6:30 PM
Over the past 22 years as a band, the multi-platinum southern rock group led by Zac Brown have had five consecutive #1 albums on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and won three GRAMMY awards including Best New Artist, Best Country Collaboration with Vocals, and Best Country Album. After releasing their new live album From The Road, Vol. 1: Covers and two new singles, the band will bring plenty of music, new and old, to CMAC.

Former member of The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, and founding member of Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes is bringing the Now Is The Time tour to CMAC this summer featuring the Warren Haynes Band and The Dreams and Songs Symphonic Experience
Goose is a five-piece jam band hailing from Connecticut with clear influences from Phish and The Grateful Dead. Taking their 2024 summer tour on the road to support their latest album Ted Tapes 2024, the band will bring a slew of energetic music to Canandaigua.
Carrie Underwood- June 21 at 7:30 PM
Returning to the stage after last summer’s U.S. arena tour, multi-faceted country star Carrie Underwood, known for songs such as “Before He Cheats” and “Jesus Take the Wheel,” is making a stop at CMAC while on a break from her Las Vegas residency REFLECTION.
Nine-time GRAMMY winner Brandi Carlile returns to CMAC during a small tour of East Coast shows in June. She will be joined by her long-time collaborators, The Hanseroth Twins, who have played alongside her throughout her career. In recent years, she has worked closely with legends such as Joni Mitchell, Tanya Tucker, and Elton John.
Norah Jones- July 5 at 7:30 PM
Embarking on her North America Visions Tour 2024, nine-time GRAMMY winner, Norah Jones, is coming to CMAC in support of her new album Visions, released in March. With her, she brings the legendary soul singer Mavis Staples as her guest.
Jason Mraz & The Superband- July 10 at 7:30 PM
Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, whose 2008 song “I’m Yours” put him on the radar, is continuing his tour, The Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride this summer, supporting his 2023 album of the same name. The alt-pop band Ripe will join the tour as a guest.
Sam Hunt- August 15 at 6:30 PM
Chart-topping country artist Sam Hunt, who can be recognized by his 2017 hit “Body Like A Back Road” is returning to the CMAC lineup while on tour for his new EP, Locked Up. He will be accompanied at CMAC by special guests and fellow country musicians Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and Dalton Dover.
The 12-piece rock and soul group led by husband and wife Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi are returning to CMAC on their Deuces Wild 2024 tour, where country singer-songwriter Margo Price will join as their guest performer.

The 2024 Artpark summer lineup offers concert-goers a wide variety of live performances including everything from jazz to rock. 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Artpark, with a host of live shows, art exhibitions and an anniversary gala scheduled for the summer.
Artpark is Located in Lewiston, NY, a short 30 minute drive north of Buffalo. Artpark combines Western New York’s cultural heritage with the natural scenery of the Niagara region. On top of all of this is a concert venue that has hosted tens of thousands of artists.
Artpark was established in 1974, through a partnership between New York State Parks and the Artpark & Company nonprofit. At its inception, Artpark was a haven for experimental and visual arts. Most works placed a focus on public engagement, nature and the impermanence of art. Artpark has hosted theater productions and musical artists from around the world on one of the largest and best-equipped stages in all of New York.
Gary Clark Jr – May 25
Artpark is just one stop for 4x Grammy winning multi-instrumentalist and singer Gary Clark Jr. during his American tour. The tour celebrates Clark’s 2024 album JPEG RAW. The album combines genres ranging from pop, blues and R&B, and social commentary to create a compelling and anthemic release.
Los Lonely Boys – May 31
Brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza formed Los Lonely Boys, a San Angelo, TX trio. They gained prominence with their take on Texican rock & roll, which tackles themes of brotherhood. The brothers have sold over 2.5 million records, and have won a grammy. They have also received acclaim from legends like Santana, Dr. John and The Who. Their 2024 tour comes in the leadup to a new album.
Sarah McLachlan – June 18
Artpark is just one stop on Sarah McLachlan’sFumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th anniversary tour, celebrating her multi-platinum 1994 album. McLachlan is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of our times, winning 3 Grammys, and 12 Juno Awards. She raised over $7 million through her Lilith Fair music festival, the largest all-female music event of all time.
Bonnie Raitt – June 21
Legendary singer-guitarist Bonnie Raitt, has been captivating audiences with her cross-genre blending of blues, rock and pop for decades. Raitt is a 13x Grammy winner, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee. She has also ranked on Rolling Stone’s lists of Greatest guitarists and singers of all time. Artpark is one stop on Raitt’s cross-country 2024 tour.
Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue – June 22
Trombone Shorty, is renowned for his eclectic blend of jazz, rock, fun, pop and hip hop. He has released four chart topping albums, collaborated with everyone from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Pharell Williams and played venues ranging from the Newport Jazz Festival to the White House. Trombone Shorty and his band, Orleans Avenue, will be gracing Artpark with what is sure to be a vibrant performance.
Dispatch – June 28
Vermont roots rock band Dispatch have drawn massive crowds for almost three decades. They rose to fame with their infectious blend of alternative, folk, reggae, and blues. Dispatch’s mix of pointed lyrics and lively instrumentation has consistently drawn massive crowds. They sold out Madison Square Garden three times, and drawing crowds of over 100,000 fans in Boston in 2004.
Orville Peck – July 1
The masked alt-country star, Orville Peck, will perform at Artpark as part of his Stampede tour across North America. Peck combines his smooth voice and vivid songwriting to tackle topics such as his sexual identity. Peck leads a new style of country music, reminiscent of the classics, but also looking to the future. His career has featured musical collaborations with the likes of Shanaia Twain and Diplo.
Norah Jones – July 6
Multi-Grammy winning singer-songwriter Norah Jones will grace Artpark with her acclaimed mix of pop, jazz and folk. This concert is part of a larger American tour in the wake of her 2024 album Visions. Since her 2002 debut Come Away with Me, Jones’s introspective approach to lyrics and intimate production has garnered massive commercial success. Jones has sold over 52 million albums, and received over 10 billion streams worldwide.
Jamey Johnson – July 16
The Washington Post lauded 11x Grammy nominated Jamey Johnson as “one of the greatest country singers of our time.” His vivid storytelling lyrics and rootsy instrumentation evoke classic Nashville. Johnson has received critical and commercial acclaim, thanks to the likes of modern classics like “In Color” and “Give it Away.” Johnson is performing at Artpark as part of his cross-country What a View Tour.
Train – July 19
Pop-radio mainstays Train will be performing at Artpark as part of their larger Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour. The San Francisco pop-rockers have received international renown, selling 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide. Audiences are sure to know mega-hits like “Hey Soul Sister” and “Drops of Jupiter.”
The Flaming Lips – July 22
Alternative rock mainstays, The Flaming Lips, have spent almost four decades releasing critically acclaimed indie classics like “Do You Realize.” The Flaming Lips will bring their signature psychedelic, sci-fi influenced strain of indie rock, accentuated by singer Wayne Coyne’s playful yet profound approach to lyricism.
Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo – July 24
Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo are a singer-producer duo who have been mainstays of pop-rock radio since the 1980s. They rose to fame producing timeless classics like “We Belong,” and “Love Is a Battlefield.” Along with these hits, the duo have produced 19 top 40 hits, and sold over 36 million worldwide. The duo’s success has brought them critical acclaim, receiving 4 consecutive Grammy awards, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Two Door Cinema Club – July 29
Two Door Cinema Club, a Northern Irish indie band, have made waves across the pond since their 2010 debut Tourist History. Their sophomore release Beacon debuted at number 1 on the Irish charts and number 2 in the UK. The band quickly became mainstays at British festivals like Leeds and Glastonbury ever since, being famous for their live performances.
Slash – S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival – July 30
The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival is short for “Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance.” It is a celebration of the blues headed by legendary guitarist Slash of Guns N’ Roses. The festival features thrilling performances from blues veterans like Keb Mo, ZZ Ward and Robert Randolph. The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. festival is dedicated to advancing social justice, with $1 of all ticket sales going to charities such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Equal Justice Initiative.
The Machine Performs Pink Floyd with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra – August 3
The Machine are a New-York based quartet who have captivated audiences since 1988 with their faithful renditions of Pink Floyd classics. The quartet will play songs spanning Pink Floyd’s 16 albums, accompanied by a state of the art laser-light show and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Backroads Blues Festival – August 10
The second annual Backroads Blues Festival will stop at Artpark as part of its cross-country tour this summer. The festival is spearheaded by 5x Grammy nominated blues-rock virtuoso Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Shepherd will be joined by blues legends Bobby Rush, Duane Betts and Jimmie Vaughan. The festival will also feature Cirque Kikasse, a Quebecois acrobatic circus show on an operational food truck, offering beer, and fast food to concert-goers.
Gin Blossoms & Toad the Wet Sprocket – August 11
Gin Blossoms have topped the charts with their characteristic brand of jangly alternative rock since 1987. They are known hits like “Hey Jealousy” off of their 1996 platinum selling album Congratulations I’m Sorry. California alt-rockers Toad the Wet Sprocket will join Gin Blossoms on stage. Toad the Wet Sprocket are on tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their platinum selling Dulcinea album. Audiences will recognize them from billboard-charting hits “All I Want” and “Walk on the Ocean.”
Stray Cats – August 13
Long Island rockabilly legends, Stray Cats, have captivated audiences for over 40 years. Their loose, jazzy and energetic guitar playing and crooning vocals from singer-guitarist Brian Setzer propelled them to stardom. Their mega-hits “Stray Cat Strut” and “Rock This Town” helped introduce their signature blend of glam and punk-influenced rockabilly to new generations.
Blues Traveler & Big Head Todd and the Monsters – August 16
New Jersey jam band legends Blues Traveler have graced audiences with their blend of bluesy alternative since 1987. Hits like “Run-Around,” off of the 6x platinum Four launched Blues Traveler to fame. Blues Traveler have released four gold selling albumsselling over 10 million combined units worldwide. They will be joined by platinum-selling Colorado Rock band Big Head Todd & the Monsters, who will play their signature hybrid of rock, blues, and country.
Bush – August 17
Bush’s signature style of grunge-influenced alternative rock has captivated audiences for three decades. Their timeless hits “Glycerine” and “Comedown” off of their 6x platinum debut Sixteen Sour have made them one of the most successful bands of the 1990s. Bush will be joined by singer-guitarist Jerry Cantrell of the legendary grunge band Alice in Chains.
Buffalo Jazz Composers Workshop – August 18
The Buffalo Jazz Composers Workshop are an ensemble of Buffalo-based composers and instrumentalists. Joined by a shared love of collaborative performance and writing, the group has crafted a unique improvisational take on contemporary jazz. The group also collaborates with visual and theatre artists to create enthralling live performances.
Tedeschi Trucks Band – August 20
Tedeschi Trucks Band are a Grammy-winning 12 piece band hailed as one of the greatest live acts touring today. NPR hailed the Husband and wife duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi as “two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation.” The band’s seamless blending of American music genres, like blues rock, soul and jazz have brought them renown. With a massive catalog of songs, no two Tedeschi Trucks Band shows are bound to be the same.
O.A.R. – August 27
O.A.R. – Short for “Of a Revolution” – are a platinum-selling alternative band from Rockville, MD. They are known for their mix of indie and roots rock. The band has sold out venues as large as Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks, all while retaining an unseen amount of freedom in the music industry, and a dedication to philanthropy. They will be headlining a US tour this summer in the wake of their 2022 album The Arcade.
Cole Swindell – August 29
Cole Swindell is an up and coming country singer-songwriter, who previously wrote hit singles for the likes of Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan. He has released four albums, with 8 singles reaching number one on the country charts. 2023 was a big year for Swindell, with him winning 3 Academy of Country Music awards, and releasing a 3x platinum cover of Joe Dee Messina’s “Heads Carolina, Tails California.”
Cage the Elephant – September 7
Kentucky indie darlings, Cage the Elephant, will grace Artpark on a cross-country tour in the wake of their new album Neon Pill. The band blends an eclectic mix of classic rock, 90s alternative, blues and funk. They are mainstays of alternative radio, with audiences sure to recognize charting hits like “Come a Little Closer” and “Cigarette Daydream.”
