  • Spaced Releases Cathartic New Single “Rat Race” Ahead of Tour, Coming To Bowery Ballroom

Hardcore band Spaced has released their new single “Rat Race” ahead of their North American tour which will make a stop at the Bowery Ballroom on February 15

Spaced consists of five members blending and combining stunning vocals, remarkable instrumentals, and distinctive songwriting. The band includes Lexi Reyngoudt on vocals, Joe Morganti and Donny Arthur on guitar, John Vaughan on bass, and Dan McCormick on drums.

The Buffalo-based band live up to their name by blending hardcore with unique sounds to create an explosive and hallucinogenic landscape. Originally formed in 2019, Spaced would burst onto the scene in 2021 with their four-song demo, followed by their 2022 compilation, Spaced Jams and a dual single in 2023, both on New Morality Zine. The band has a vitality and unique take on the genre that quickly caught the attention of long-standing home to hardcore Revelation Records, who announced the band’s signing in 2023.

“Rat Race” features catchy themes and eccentric guitars with continuous drumming that give it a sentimental and hardcore vibe. With the groove-driven riffs moving into trippy whirls, the song features pulsating drums that plead for side-to-side mosh. The band’s vocalist Lexi Reyngoudt can be heard as she sings “us against you” with distinct enunciation that makes the song stand out.

A track about not fitting into everyday life while simultaneously not caring about it. There will always be someone who tries to dictate how you live your life and will tell you what you’re doing ‘wrong.’ The best way to go about that? Tell them you don’t care and continue to be yourself.

    Lexi Reyngoudt.

With the release of a new track, the band has also announced the release of their new album, This Is All We Ever Get, set to premiere on March 22. Working with Jay Zubricky (Mindforce, Terror) at GCR Audio in Buffalo, Spaced recorded their new album over a few days in May 2023 and sent the album off for mastering with Will Killingsworth (Orchid) at Dead Air Studios. On the record, the band pulls from a wide range of influences, while still staying centered around individuality. Fans can preorder the album here.

Spaced will also join Militarie Gun, Spiritual Cramp, and Pool Kids on a North American tour which will make a stop at the Bowery Ballroom, on February 15. For tickets and more information about the band fans can visit here

  • Bret Michaels Announces Return of Infamous Parti-Gras

Bret Michaels has announced he will be partnering with Live Nation to bring back Parti-Gras 2.0 – Bret Michael’s Summer feel-good music festival. The summer celebration will be a repeat of the last Parti-Gras, where “all killer, no filler, feel-good music” is the overarching theme.

Michaels will be belting out all of his Poison hits, joined by some of his closest friends for an unforgettable blend of chart-toppers including Dee Snider, Lou Gramm, Chris Janson, Don and Felder.

Bret Michaels and his crew will unleash hit after hit for each show, all summer long. The six-city limited-date run of the event kicks off on July 12 in Indiana, at the Ruoff Music Center. The tour will also be stopping near NY in Holmdel, NJ at PNC Bank Arts Center.

You never know what surprise guests will jump up as friends of Bret Michaels on the stage, whether it’s star chef Guy Fieri, the Impractical Jokers, the Pawn Stars, or unbelievable superstar musicians.

The Parti-Gras is like Jimmy Buffett meets AC/DC meets Poison in a backyard barbecue setting. Michaels has even been known to drag fans up on stage during these arena and amphitheater shows and let them sing along.

“I guarantee these festivals are a modern-day throwback to those epic tailgate bashes, overflowing with good vibes and nothing but positive energy. I created the Parti-Gras festivals first and foremost as a fan of music, bringing along friends, bands and hit songs. I love it as a celebration of the music – no ego, just nothing but a good time. I like bringing fans up on the stage to sing…with the tough years we’ve been through, I wanted to bring the fans a night of having fun, singing big hit music, and I promise you that I really get into the details – all-killer hits, no filler.”

  • Dierks Bentley Returns to the Road with Stops in Darien, Syracuse, and Saratoga Springs

Dierks Bentley has announced his return to the road this summer with the “Gravel & Gold Tour.” The tour will see three dates in New York. Darien Lake Amphitheater, SPAC in Saratoga, and Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater in Syracuse will all host Bentley.

    Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentely is one of country music’s biggest names today. Since his first publishing deal in 2001, Bentley has consistently landed himself at the top of the country music charts. Bentley has been a mainstay of country culture, with trendy, popular sound and a lovable attitude.

Along with this, Dierks Bentley has been a part of several other professional endeavors. He has been involved with Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son, along with his four “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” locations.

“The Gravel & Gold tour has been the best of my career, and I’m not ready to leave it behind. We are so locked in with this production that it allows me to be living right in the moment with the fans, and that’s the magic! I’m bringing along some old friends and some newer artists who are all putting their own unique spin on country, bluegrass and Americana music. I can’t wait to watch their shows and hopefully sing with them too. Those collaborations are a highlight of my summer every year.”

    Dierks Bentely

Dierk’s music is feel-good, pop-country, with an emphasis on having a good time no matter where you are, like in his now decade-old song, “Drunk on a Plane.” It is very much summery, beer-drinking, good-time tune. His upcoming tour will certainly reflect those vibrations starting this July.

  • Samantha Fish Brings The “Death Wish Blues” tour in Albany, Syracuse, and Buffalo This Spring

Samantha Fish has announced her anticipated “Death Wish Blues” tour which will be stopping at the Hart Theatre at The Egg in Albany on March 10, at the The Beacon Theatre in New York on March 15, at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse on March 23 and at the Asbury Hall at Babeville in Buffalo on March 24.

Kansas City based songwriter tour will be a collaboration with Texas-base rock singer Jesse Dayton after the success of their joint album Death Wish Blues which was released in May 2023 . The album produced by Jon Spencer went #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart for three consecutive weeks and since December 2022, the duo have toured across the U.S., U.K., Europe and Australia, and soon they will bring rock performances to Albany and New York.

After its release in 2023, the powerful and spirited album praise is neverending, Rolling Stone stated, “Jesse Dayton and Samantha Fish make the blues cool and current,” while Saving Country Music called it “wild, rambunctious and loud”. Before Death Wish Blues, Samantha released her critically acclaimed Faster in 2021. The album uncovered new possibilities in Samantha’s captivating sound, revealing her affinity for North Mississippi blues heroes like R.L. Burnside and wildly inventive iconoclasts like Prince. Faster followed her 2019 Rounder Records debut, Kill or Be Kind, produced by the Massachusetts-based Scott Billington.

Growing up in Missouri, Fish first found her love of songwriting in her late teens, mining inspiration from Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen. The singer first took up guitar at the age of 15 and began seeking gigs by cold-calling countless local bars. “I used to open the phone book and call up every place in Kansas City, even if they didn’t have live shows,” she remembers. “I had maybe a three percent success rate, but eventually, I started filling up my calendar—if you put on a good enough show, word of mouth gets around.” She added.

Over the years, Fish has maintained her reputation as a phenomenal live act and repeatedly turned out critically acclaimed albums, earning an ever-growing number of accolades. This coming spring the singer will be performing in Albany, Syracuse and Buffalo and fans can find tickets here

  • Chromeo World Tour Stops by Terminal 5 This Fall

Chromeo—the GRAMMY-nominated duo of Montreal natives David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel–have announced they will embark on a North American co-headline tour with The Midnight this fall, stopping at Terminal 5 on Oct. 4.

    Chromeo
    Credit: Bobby Doherty

After almost two decades of shiny synths and sharp lyrics, Chromeo has set themselves apart as dedicated scholars of the groove, proving time and again that no one does it quite like them. Across their five critically acclaimed LPs, Dave 1 and P-Thugg established an irresistible electrofunk sound. Together, the inseparable friends have toured the world over, perfecting a musical and visual language that is now instantly recognizable and more refined.

Chromeo’s long-awaited, sixth studio album, Adult Contemporary, is out this Friday, February 16. Across the record’s 14 tracks, the duo explores what it means to be funky in your 30s and 40s, offering the most sophisticated version of the infectious grooves and cheeky wordplay they’ve become known for. Already receiving critical acclaim, FLAUNT praises: “P-Thugg and Dave 1 have one of those unique creative partnerships that bears the most wonderful kind of fruit: that evergreen, ever-juicy groove.”

Chromeo debuted the new music in live performances last year, first at Coachella and then on their FUNK YOURSELF Tour, their first headline run in five years. Synthwave duo The Midnight will join Chromeo on the North American fall run. The band—helmed by Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan—lives at the intersection of varying sounds, driven by the frictional spark that fires when the two melt together.

    Chromeo

They will be joined this fall by special guests Ruth Radelet and Girl Ultra. Ruth Radelet is best known as the lead singer in the seminal electronic band Chromatics. Her solo material expands her sonic palette with hypnotic vocals and dreamy atmospheres. Girl Ultra is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and creative director.

Presale for all North American dates (US, Canada, Mexico) begins Wednesday, February 14 at 10 a.m. local time, with general on sale Thursday, February 15.

  • moe. Announces “Best.Summer.Ever” 2024 Tour with Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country

moe. has announced a 12-date “Best.Summer.Ever” Tour at stages across the country, and joined by Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, a tour that guarantees a blend of classic jams, improvisational brilliance, and a vibrant celebration of live music.

Tour stops include shows at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in NYC, a two-night run at Wonderland Forest in Lafayette and a show at Outer Harbor in Buffalo. All but Buffalo feature two sets of moe. and one set of Daniel Donato.

moe summer tour 2024 daniel donato best summer ever

The “Best.Summer.Ever” Tour will kick off with a bang on the Fourth of July at the Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, NJ. This show, as well as performances on July 5th in Westport, CT, and July 6th in Jay, VT, will also feature Neighbor.

Continuing their commitment to mental health awareness and support within the music community, moe. is proud to announce that $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Backline and Sweet Relief’s Music’s Mental Health Fund. This vital program offers grants to subsidize mental health and wellness services for touring musicians, crew members, and their families, underscoring the band’s dedication to the well-being of their extended musical family.

Since the addition of Nate Wilson on keys and return of Chuck Garvey on guitar, the band has been reintroducing rarities and classic rock covers back into setlists. Recent shows have featured the first-time performance of Led Zeppelin’s “Going to California,” while in San Francisco, the return of the original “Paper Dragon,” Pink Floyd cover “Interstellar Overdrive,” “CalifornIA,” and “Take the Skinheads Bowling.”

moe. is currently gearing up for their “Ski Tour” in March, kicking off with a notable four-night run at Park City’s Egyptian Theatre, followed by stops at favorite Colorado haunts, particularly meaningful as it marks moe.’s first return to many of these venues since the early 2020 “ski tour” was abruptly halted due to the pandemic’s onset.

Daniel Donato’s own musical frequency was tuned at a young age while growing up in Nashville. After a high school history teacher gave him a pile of Grateful Dead bootleg recordings when he was 18, the stage was set for what would eventually become Donato’s vision, Cosmic Country. Since then, the guitar virtuoso, singer, songwriter and bandleader has released two acclaimed albums, the latest being 2023’s celebrated Reflector and has been tearing it up on the road playing over 200 shows per year. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country has played to sold-out crowds from coast to coast and garnered a passionate and rapidly expanding fanbase.

  • Pearl Jam Announce New Album ‘Dark Matter’ and Tour with Two Dates at MSG

Pearl Jam has announced the release of the 12th studio album Dark Matter, coming on April 19, 2024, and the launch of a 35-date worldwide tour this May. The band will go to Madison Square Garden on September 3 and September 4, 2024.

    Pearl Jam.
Dark Matter Album Artwork: light painting art by Alexandr Gnezdilov

Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band’s lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder, and drummer Matt Cameron. With thirty-plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums, and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

Since the earliest days, they have used their platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change, homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters, and merchandise to organizations to use for their fundraising purposes.

In 2023, the band went to La Studios in Malibu where they simply plugged in and played with producer Andrew Watt. The musicians faced one another in the same space and communicated sonically at the highest level, producing Dark Matter in just three weeks. As a result, the album channels the shared spirit of a group of lifelong creative confidants and brothers in one room playing as if their very lives depended on it.

I’m getting chills, because I have good memories. We’re still looking for ways to communicate. We’re at this time in our lives when you could do it or you could not do it, but we still care about putting something out there that is meaningful and we hopefully think is our best work. No hyperbole, I think this is our best work.

    Eddie Vedder.

The band is celebrating indie record stores with the release of a special edition of Dark Matter on April 20; only at participating stores as part of Record Store Day. Get more information and find stores here.

Special guests Deep Sea Diver (North America Leg 1), Glen Hansard (North America Leg 2), The Murder Capital (UK/EU), Richard Ashcroft (Dublin and London), and Pixies (Australia and New Zealand) will serve as support for these dates.

Tickets will be available two ways: a Ten Club members-only presale will be held through Ticketmaster Request for eligible members. Only paid Ten Club members active as of Monday, February 12 are eligible to participate in this presale. More info here. Fans can register for a chance to participate in the Dark Matter World Tour 2024 registration sale by Sunday, February 18 at 11:59 PM local time for Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand shows and by Sunday, February 18 at 11:59 pm PT for North America shows. This will be the only way for fans to participate in the on-sale. Registration does not guarantee access to the sale.

The tour will use all-in pricing across all North America, Europe, and UK shows to ensure the ticket price listed is the full out-of-pocket price inclusive of fees.

  • Usher To Bring Nationwide “Past, Present, Future” Tour to New York

Usher has announced his nationwide “Past, Present, Future” tour, featuring four nights at Barclays Center on Sept. 6, 7, 9, and 10.

The tour announcement comes just days ahead of the multi-platinum-selling artist to headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

With the new tour dates, Usher will also release his ninth studio album titled Coming Home on February 9. Coming Home is the singer’s first solo album in nearly eight years since Hard II Love (2016) and his first studio album in six years since A (2018), marking the longest gap between the two albums. The album will be his first independent album and will feature collaborations with Burna Boy, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, Latto, The-Dream, H.E.R, Pheelz, and Jungkook from BTS.

The “Caught Up” singer first released his self-titled debut album in 1994 at the age of sixteen and rose to fame in the late 1990s following the release of his second album My Way (1997). His third album, 8701 (2001), saw continued success with the number-one singles “U Remind Me” and “U Got It Bad”, as well as the top-three single “U Don’t Have to Call”. It sold eight million copies worldwide and won the artist his first two Grammy Awards as Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 2002 and 2003.

In addition to music, Usher has made numerous TV and film appearances, including as a Guest judge on Star Search in 2003 and also the iconic cameo as himself in the 2019 film Hustlers directed by Lorene Scafaria. He holds an entire strip club in his thrall, his song “Love in the Club” playing as he lavishes attention on the dancers. His 2022 NPR Tiny Desk Concert gained over 20 million views, making it one of the series’ most popular installments.

Since he made his professional debut, Usher has achieved nine No. 1 singles and released eight studio albums. His 2004 hit track “Confessions Part II” was crowned by Rolling Stone as the “best R&B song of the 21st century.” His 2004 album Confessions, achieved the highest certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, Diamond, as it surpassed 10 million sales in 2008, which made him the first and last R&B artist since Stevie Wonder, whose 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life was certified in 2005, to receive this distinction. He’s also the last Black artist in any genre to achieve this.

Tickets for his “Past, Present, Future” Tour will begin on February 7. Additional pre-sales will be available  throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on February 12 at LiveNation.com

The Red Red Wine Tour will also feature other artists on select dates including The English Beat, Inner Circle, Maxi Priest, Third World, and Fastest Land Animal.

This upcoming tour marks the third straight year that the band will rock audiences in the US. UB40 will have two dates in New York on July 2 and Aug. 15. Sony Hall in Manhattan will see UB40 kick off the tour live with their world-renowned hits, and new releases. They are also performing at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in Nassau County on Aug. 15.

“We’re excited to get back to the States again for our third year in a row, as we love coming to America.  We can’t wait to play songs from our new album that we’re so very proud of, showcasing Matt Doyle’s vocals on the tracks. He’s brought a new lease of life to our music, as has the addition of our ‘permanent guest’ MC Gilly G and my son on backing vocals, Matt Campbell, carrying on the legacy. When you play songs over so many years, the arrangements and vocals evolve and change. These updated versions of our hits are still close to the originals, but now reflect how we perform them today and they sound better than ever.”

    Robin Campbell, UB40 Guitarist

The band’s impactful reggae-pop music will be out in full effect this summer. The talent and influence that UB40 emanates is something to behold live. The band will showcase their abilities in celebration of their 45th anniversary, as well as the release of the UB45 album which commemorates the anniversary as well.
