    Sydney Worthley –How Soon Is Now”

    Sydney Worthley is an alternative artist from Albany. In 2017, she released her debut 14-track album titled Strong, followed by performances at Mountain Jam Music Festival, First Night Saratoga, and all over the Capital Region. In 2019, she became an independent artist at the age of 17. Her newest track “How Soon Is Now” is a glittery pop single that will be played on EQXposure.

    ShortWave RadioBand – “So long the Hopeful”

    ShortWave RadioBand resides in Schuylerville. Starting out as a semi-acoustic duo in late 2019, Lonny Eaton and Andy Scullin performed cover songs for a little more than a year before meeting drummer John Woods. They started writing their own songs at the end of Summer 2021 and then added Abby Stone on trumpet and Ryan Shaw on guitar.

    Rhoseway – “Country Sunrise”

    Rhoseway is the solo project of Albany-based songwriter Rob Fleming. All writing, arrangements, performances, and production are done by himself in a DIY fashion.

    Doctor Baker – “Holiday Lights”

    Consisting of Ed Schwarzschild (guitar, vocals), Iggy Calabria (guitar, vocals), Chris Gockley (bass), and Danny Goodwin (drums, percussion), Doctor Baker originally started as an acoustic duo before expanding. The complete band brings a strong sound to audiences within the Capitol Region and beyond. Their single “Holiday Lights” off of their album Trespassers will be played on EQXposure.

    The Rough Shapes – “Last Christmas” cover

    The Rough Shapes are an instrumental trio based in the mid-Hudson Valley. Their sound is shaped by their shared hometown of Saugerties. The group’s sound is underground electric guitar music – the darker side of rockabilly, surf, spy, early rock and roll, and the cinematic mood music of Morricone. 

    Watch Reggie Run – “Unwrap them all”

    Watch Reggie Run is a father-son duo founded in 2017 by Dave and Luke Graham. They started performing as a way to connect with one another, as Luke has autism and his communication skills are limited. Their holiday song “Unwrap them all” will be played on EQXposure.

    This week the new album .jpg by No More Death Stars will be played on EQXposure. The group comes out of Albany and is the creative brainchild of Kevin Cardinale, and a bunch of collaborators. They self-identify as a pop-punk collective, being compared to indie-punk contemporaries such as Jeff Rosenstock and AJJ.

    The group reemerged this year to create their new album, which takes influence from Radiohead and Brian Wilson. It incorporates orchestral instrumentation composed by Cardinale and performed by newcomers Anthime Miller, Ben Burt, and Sam Mark.

    The songs off the new album “Halloween 2008,” “Have you ever wondered if Osama Bin Laden has ever fallen in love?” and “Emotional Lint Roller” will be played on EQXposure.

    Jade Relics: “Leave us Alone” and “Mandarine”

    Jade Relics is a collective of Vermont Musicians featuring, Elder Orange, Rico James, IamE. Their music is danceable and infectious, with excellent production and instrumentation. Their songs “Leave us Alone” and “Mandarine” will be played on EQXposure.

    Blur Beside You: “Stumble more than anything” and “Nothing Feels Real”

    Blur Beside You is a shoegaze indie rock trio from New York and Florida. It features 3 founding members of the South Florida band, Mindlikewater, Jim Wells, Joseph Butera & Joseph Beaty. Their songs “Stumble more than anything” and “Nothing Feels Real” will be played on EQXposure.

    Fine Grain: “Missing Adult” and “Calculate”

    Fine Grain floats in between shoegaze haze and punk posturing. They are from Albany and stitch old punk with new to create their unique sound. Their songs “Missing Adult” and “Calculate” will be played on EQXposure.

    Rhoseway – “Prey on The Rest of Us”

    Rhoseway is the solo project of Albany-based songwriter Rob Fleming. All writing, arrangements, performances, and production are done by himself in a DIY fashion.

    Ethan Crowley – “in my dreams”

    Ethan Crowley is a budding new artist from Saratoga Springs. He has an eccentric pop sound with roots in old-school ballads, jazz, and soul. His recent debut album Drowning in a Glass of Water was produced entirely by himself, and his album release show at Caffe Lena had rave reviews.

    Gracies Paris – “1 2 & 3”

    Gracies Paris is a Troy-based power pop rock band formed in 2007 featuring Carl Ferritto (vocal and guitar), Eric Buechner (drums), and Randy Rose (bass). Something that the band does that makes listeners keep tuning in is by changing their sound after each song. One single may have a similar sound to the other, but no song is quite the same.

    Ian Nichols – “Killer Corpse”

    Ian Nichols is a singer-songwriter from Albany who is an indie rock/ Lo-fi composer. His fourth full-length album is scheduled to be released in November. He has worked on various other projects and produced the score and music for the 2014 horror film Lake Nowhere. His single “Killer Corpse” will be played on EQXposure.

    mrhs – “Old Fashioned Hurgusburgus”

    mrhs are a synth-punk group from Albany. They recently released a new album, Poo Brain. The song “Old Fashioned Hurgusburgus” from that record will be played on EQXposure.

    Northern Faces – “Feelings”

    Northern Faces are a rock band formed in 2012. The band features Bryan Shortell and Marco Testa on vocals and guitars, and Matt Ippolito on bass.

    Another Sexless Weekend – “Beautiful Strange”

    Another Sexless Weekend is from Burlington, VT. The project is the brainchild of Julian Foster and Andrew Poitras. Their song “Beautiful Strange” was released on Sept. 25 and will be played on EQXposure on sunday night.

    Sara Devoe – “Bella”

    Sara Devoe is an emerging singer/songwriter from Albany. She takes most of her inspiration from artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Haley Heynderickx, Field Medic, and Grimes. Her song “Bella” will be played on EQXposure on Sunday.

    Reese Fulmer – “Leaving a dream”

    Reese Fulmer and his Carriage House Band are quickly rising stars in the Capital Region. Fulmer is a bit of an old soul, and his music is reminiscent of Justin Townes Earle, Jeffrey Foucault, John Prine, and Iron & Wine. His song “Leaving a dream” will be played on EQXposure Sunday night.

    grape juice- “ICICLES

    grape juice is an indie-alt band from Saratoga Springs. They make chill and indie music, that centers on sad things. Their new single “ICICLES” came out on Sept. 30 and will be featured on EQXposure.

    Haley Moley- “Deep Silence”

    Based in Troy, Haley Moley is comprised of house music DJ and dance music producer Jennifer Maher Coleman and features Paul Coleman on guitar, Andrea Kosek on keyboard and guitar, Pat Thorpe on bass, and Mike Broomhead on drums. Their newest single “Deep Silence” will be featured on EQXposure.

    New American Cuisine-“Talking”

    Five-piece Saratoga Springs indie band New American Cuisine released their new single “Talking” on Sept. 16. The band met in high school, and continues to collab during winter and summer breaks while they are at different colleges.

    Power and Light Co.- “Bottle Rocket Glow”

    Power and Light Co. are a new wave-inspired indie rock duo from Albany, and the members include Curtis Flach on vocals, keys, guitars, and drums and Chris Brant on bass and vocals. The band was formed in 2019 when they began work on their debut album Have Gun, Will Travel. The debut single off the album “Bottle Rocket Glow” is out now.

    Sinkcharmer- “The Ark”

    Sinkcharmer is a retro band from Ballston Spa, making electronic beat-driven rock music that draws influence from post-punk and industrial. The project was started by Paul Coleman and is framed as a band that was lost in time, happening back in the 90s.

    El Modernist is an indie band from Albany, delivering new takes on what is considered indie rock. They mix genres and have a psychedelic sound with pulsating hooks and melodies. Their brand new album, Eras is out now, and their songs “Red State” and “Lines” will be played on EQXposure.

    Stellar Young – “Hitting Reset”

    Stellar Young is an indie-rock band from Albany, comprised of John Glenn (vox/keys), Erik Flora (guitar/vox), Kyle Hatch (guitar), Dave Parker (producer), and Tim Brosnan (drums). Their song “Hitting Reset” off of their 2015 record Vessels will be played on EQXposure Sunday Night.
