Iron Maiden returns to North American in 2022, bringing “The Legacy Of The Beast World Tour” to even more cities, making stops where they have not performed in for many years. Already seen by almost 2,000,000 people across the globe, the tour is hailed by fans and media alike as the most extravagant and visually spectacular performance of the band’s career to date, in addition to a decades-spanning set list of fan favorites.
The 2022 tour includes a stop at the new UBS Arena at Belmont Park, located on the border of Queens and Nassau Counties, on October 19. The show will also include some songs from their new studio album Senjutsu, being played live for the first time.
Special guests on Iron Maiden’s 2022 dates will feature Trivium on all dates between El Paso and Spokane, and Within Temptation on all dates from Sioux Falls to Tampa, including at Belmont Park.

Next summer we will finally get to play the huge European stadium tour for The Legacy Of The Beast, and the new show will be even more spectacular so after our visit to Rock in Rio early September 2022 we decided to take it back to our fans in North America too, but in cities or venues we didn’t play in 2019, including some we haven’t visited in many years like El Paso, Spokane, Sioux Falls, Columbus, Hamilton, Ottawa and Greensboro.

The late Leonard Cohen was honored with a 14-track compilation tribute album titled, Cult Classics Vol. 1: I Don’t Even Think of You That Often. The album pays tribute to the fifth anniversary of his passing and featuring more than 20 different musicians.

Leonard Cohen was a Canadian singer-songwriter, poet, and artist who passed away back in 2016. New York always held a special place in Leonard Cohen’s heart from when he first visited it back in 1966 where he met folk singer Judy Collins. Other big names befriended in New York included, Andy Warhol, the Velvet Underground, and German singer Nico, “whose despondent delivery he may have emulated on his exquisite 1967 album Songs of Leonard Cohen,” according toRolling Stone. Cohen wrote many songs inspired by New York including “First We Take Manhattan” and “Chelsea Hotel #2.”
Cult Classics Vol. 1: I Don’t Even Think of You That Often, was released on November 7 was conceptualized and headed by Staten Island-based producer Adam Tilzer, was brought together by more than a dozen additional powerhouse musicians, including: Ellajay, Jacob Jolliff, Elijah Mann, Jordan Popky, Lana Cenčić, Yify Zhang, Giselle, Ann Marie Nacchio, The Defectives, Kiirstin Marilyn, Emanuel Ayvas, Shay Moulder, Paola Bennet, Lexie Lowell, Ward Williams, Sam Nordlinger, Maxfield Gast, Brian Delaney, Tiger Darrow, Jesse “Dr.” Blum, Benjamin Wright, and Elliott Von Wendt.

Almost four years after his first foray into unfamiliar concert territory with his highly-acclaimed Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour, “Weird Al” Yankovic will return to the road for an extensive cross-country tour, kicking off with two dates in New York.

Starting April 23 at Bardavon in Poughkeepsie, and heading through Albany the next night at The Egg, “Weird Al” will perform 131 shows over the next six months, with the final show in New York City at Carnegie Hall on October 29.
The tour marks Weird Al’s long-anticipated return to the concert stage after his hugely successful Strings Attached Tour in 2019 where he performed each night alongside a full symphony orchestra at world-renowned venues such as New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Washington D.C.’s Wolf Trap.
Once again drawing from his back catalogue of 14 studio albums, Weird Al promises to deliver a different setlist every night, with no two shows the same. As before, rather than focusing on the hits from his career, the show will feature Yankovic’s non-parody material – the somewhat more obscure pastiches and original songs that have largely escaped the pop culture radar but are adored by his long-time fans.
Like the last Vanity Tour, “Weird Al” will be playing smaller, more intimate venues, leaving behind the high-octane theatrics that he’s known for and going bare-bones – no costumes, no props, no video screens… just Al and his band of almost four decades hanging out on stage, playing music.
Reflecting on his decision to bring back the stripped-down concerts, Al said:
I’ve loved doing every single incarnation of my live show, but honestly the Vanity tour is the most fun I’ve ever had on stage… so I’ve been dying to get back out there and torture everybody with it once again!

Opening the show each night will be returning fan favorite and Al’s long-time friend (and UHF cast member), the legendary comedian Emo Philips.
“Weird Al” Yankovic first found fame via the Dr. Demento radio show in the late 1970s, before launching a career that would lead to 14 albums, creative and hilarious music videos, and built a following of fans across the globe.

Rockland County based Indie-punk label Manic Kat Records has announced the return of their annual holiday show, “A Very Merry Punxmas IV” at Olive’s Bar in Nyack.
Hosted for a second year by TikTok influencer, KiwiCvlt A Very Merry Punxmas iV takes place on December 18th with sets from New Age Affair, When Thieves are About, Cult Classic and Just Happy To Be Here, with more live music and festivities taking place over the course of the evening.
Formed in New York in 2009, independent label Manic Kat Records continues to flourish as a hot bed of punk, rock and metal talent from North America & internationally. Manic Kat has a roster including highly-touted emerging acts such as The Anchor, American Standards, Right On, Kid and Nautical Mile.

Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs has announced their December 2021 lineup of shows. The venue will close out the year in style with tons of performances throughout the month starting on December 2, 2021.

Caffe Lena was opened in 1960 and became a staple of Saratoga Springs launching many of America’s best loved and well known songwriters, ranging from big names like Bob Dylan in 1961 to Sawyer Fredericks in 2014. After the passing of its founder Lena Nargi Spencer in 1989, Caffè Lena was converted to a non-profit institution supported by concert revenue, private and corporate donors, grants and bequests, and an ever-evolving team of volunteers. The venue recently went through renovations in 2016. It began a $2 million renovation of their 19th century building in Saratoga’s historic downtown. It wrapped up in 2017, guarantees a home for Lena’s celebrated programming for decades to come, creates 100% handicap-accessibility to our second floor performance space, and brings the listener and artist experience in line with the club’s international reputation.
The schedule will start with Scott Sharrard on Thursday, December 2nd at 7pm and Friday, December 3rd at 8pm. He is a lead guitarist and music director of the Gregg Allman Band from 2008 to 2017 and Guitarist/ Vocalist for Little Feat since 2019.

The New York State Blues Festival will celebrate its 30th Anniversary over June 16-18, 2022 at Chevy Court inside the New York State Fairgrounds. Once again, the three-day event will be packed with local, regional, and national acts on stage, with plenty of room for dancing throughout the grounds. As always, admission is free.
The festival first began in mid-summer 1992 as the Central New York Blues Festival featuring talented local musicians in downtown Syracuse’s Armory Square, as well as live music inside the historic Hotel Syracuse. Eddie Vedder and bandmates the Earthlings will hit the road in a series of U.S. concert dates in February 2022. The shows kick off on February 3 in New York and wrap up on February 22 in Vedder’s hometown of Seattle. Special guest Glen Hansard will open the shows.
Vedder and the Earthlings will appear at the Beacon Theatre in New York City for two nights on February 3 and February 4, and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ, on February 6.
The Earthlings are drummer Chad Smith, keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Josh Klinghoffer, bassist Chris Chaney, guitarist/vocalist Glen Hansard, and guitarist Andrew Watt. The newly formed group gave their live debut at Vedder’s own Ohana Festival this September.
Hansard is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Over the course of his career, he has released records as a member of The Frames, The Swell Season and as a solo artist under his own name. He continues to perform in all three of these outlets as time, opportunity and demand arise.

Newly inducted Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foo Fighters will be giving the people a lot more of what they want in 2022 with an 18 show tour of amphitheaters, stadiums and festivals across North America. The tour kicks off in May in Burgettstown, PA, with Empire State shows at Citi Field in Queens on July 17 and two nights later at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
The 2022 dates will mark Foo Fighters’ most extensive North American run since the February release of the band’s 10th album, Medicine at Midnight hailed as “brighter and more optimistic than anything they’ve ever done” (Rolling Stone)” and “one of Foo Fighters’ best albums of this century” (Wall Street Journal).

Grammy Award winning duo Twenty One Pilots have announced “The Icy Tour 2022,” which will find the band headlining arenas across North America next summer, including a stop at Madison Square Garden on August 23 andthe new UBS Arena in Belmont Park on August 24.
The coast-to-coast 23-city outing will kick off on August 18th in St. Paul, MN and make stops in New York City, Toronto, Nashville, Anaheim, and more before wrapping up with a performance at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena on September 24th.
Twenty One Pilots quietly emerged as one of the most successful bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation. After billions of streams and dozens of multi-Platinum certifications around the world, the history-making Columbus, OH duo—Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun—ascended to a creative and critical high watermark on their new full-length album, Scaled And Icy. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top “Rock Albums” and “Alternative Albums” charts, while landing at No. 3 on the “Billboard 200,” marking the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021.
In celebration of the upcoming tour, Twenty One Pilots have also surprise released a digital deluxe version of their acclaimed new album, Scaled And Icy. Scaled And Icy (Livestream Version) includes never before released performances of fan favorite tracks from the group’s pioneering global streaming event, “Twenty One Pilots – Livestream Experience”.
Written and largely produced by Tyler Joseph in isolation over the course of the past year at his home studio, with Dun engineering the album’s drums from across the country, Scaled And Icy is the product of long-distance virtual sessions and finds the duo processing their upended routines along with the prevailing emotions of 2020 – anxiety, loneliness, boredom, and doubt. The duo had to forgo their normal studio sessions but reached a new of level of introspection in the process, adopting a more imaginative and bold approach to their songwriting. The result is a collection of songs that push forward through setbacks and focus on the possibilities worth remembering. Scaled And Icy is Twenty One Pilots’ first studio album in three years and follows their RIAA Platinum certified LP, Trench.

As we find ourselves inching towards the light at the end of this pandemic, of course still hurdling over omicron, many shows have returned to in-person performances. Yet, Consider the Source will return back to a live stream performance for the debut of their album to cater to their worldwide fanbase on December 15 at 8pm EST.
Choosing a single city to debut the album would be selfish to Sourcerors from all over the world, we should consider ourselves lucky to hear the entirety of Hybrid Vol. 1 | Such As A Mule two full days before its official release. The stream will involve a unique collection of acoustic and electric instruments used on the album in a beautiful church converted venue, 5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke, VA. A new single from the album will also be available this Friday December 5th.
What started as just one tour has led to a total of 15 years of traveling the globe sharing their unique style in hard to reach places evolving with a multitude of new diverse sounds gathered from each country visited. Today, CTS’ music is defined as soaked in Indian and Middle Eastern styles, but this December 17th we may hear styles from beyond where their tour has taken them to Germany, Israel, Turkey, and India. Because CTS may never subject themselves to the status-quo, this makes the band that much more intriguing where each record serves us something different every time.
Their true roots grew from the underbelly of NYC performing improvisational heavy sets. Judging from the sixth studio release You Are Literally a Metaphor or even considering the first two singles on the album “There Was Time Now” and “Rock, Flag, Eagle” their unbelievable releases are only a faint whisper of what this album can amount to. The album brings the full CTS exploration, with an additional host of instruments – Uyghur Dutar, Banjo Bass, Dabuka, Dombra, Ukulele Bass, Djembe and more. Cultural fusion might be a good descriptor for CTS, but in the end falls short in describing the power and creativity at play here.
