Fall Fest will debut at Buffalo Central Terminal on October 12. Guests can expect everything from live music, awesome activities and various vendors for a day of fall fun.
Fall Fest 2024 features live music and local bands, food trucks, beer and wine vendors, no-mess pumpkin decorating, henna artists and face-painting. Festgoers can also expect carriage rides and photo installations, local vendors for laser engraved products, embellished glassware, clothing, books, syrups, health and beauty care products, and much more.
The musical artists featured for October 12 are Chuckie Campbell and Diyene. Chuckie Campbell is a hip-hop artist who originated in Buffalo. He plans to dazzle audiences with his impressive wordplay and poetry-forward rapping style. Diyene is a funk-soul-pop fusion band based out of Buffalo as well. Their distinctive sound is characterized by heartfelt lyrics and catchy hooks, delivered through powerful performances bursting with energy.

Queens Rising is back for its third year of the Multidisciplinary Arts Festival with the Queens Scene series starting Saturday, June 1st.
Queens Rising is a collective celebration honoring the culture and diversity of the borough. Their mission is to spread awareness of Queens’ rich history in the arts and contributions to New York City art. They work with many organizations and establishments to bring these celebrations to life. Queens Scene is one of the many programs they offer to exemplify pride for their community.
Additionally, the venues taking part in the festival have chosen artists all of whom they feel represent the creative and cultural significance of Queens. Each performer was chosen from an open call in the spring and will have the opportunity to grow their platforms.

Buffalo Central Terminal has announced the release of their calendar of free events for the 2024 season. The community events take place from May to October at the Buffalo Central Terminal Lawn.
The festival includes a large variety of fun activities and events for all members of the community to enjoy. Events range from live music, plays, and movie nights to fitness bootcamps and car shows. Along with this, there are school giveaways for kids returning to the books along with an all-encompassing fall fest. From summer to fall, the Buffalo Central Terminal Festival keeps the community engaged and entertained.
The historic Buffalo Central Terminal is a prominent feature of Buffalo’s East Side and the Broadway Fillmore neighborhood. The not-for-profit Central Terminal Restoration Corp. has been the caretaker for more than 20 years.
The community driven Master Plan re-establishes the Terminal as a hub of activity. Buffalo Central Terminal is a beacon that attracts people and investment, celebrates, and fosters community voice and connections that contributes to the strong future of the city and region.
This year, the historic landmark boasts 15 free of charge events over the course of five months. The festival sees one event May 18, three in June, five in July, three in August, and two sendoff events in October.

Health is Wealth Fitness Bootcamp A 3-part fitness and cardio bootcamp lead by GCOPE Fitness. The series is held on the Central Terminal Lawn from 9am to 10am on May 18, June 22, and June 29.
Central Terminal Car Show Admire over 100 meticulously restored sport compact and muscle cars Sunday, June 30 from 10am to 5pm at the Central Terminal Car Show.
Movie Night This year we’re hosting two movie nights at the Terminal. Join us July 29 for a taste of nostalgia with “The Goonies.” August 28 shows an animated film that’s perfect for the little ones. More to be announced soon.

The annual Scarsdale Music Festival is returning for its fourth year June 1-12 to 6pm in Scarsdale Village. The six-hour music festival sees a hearty lineup of amazing talent from all over.
The festival is hosted by the Scarsdale Business Aliance and benefits Daniel’s Music Foundation. The foundation aims to empower individuals with disabilities through music education and performance. The annual Scarsdale Music Festival boasts an extensive lineup of highly talented individuals and groups.
The Scarsdale Music Festival is an exceptional, family-friendly community event that brings together thousands of people of all ages to celebrate their love of music, food, and community and is a not-to-be missed experience. The Scarsdale Business Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Village of Scarsdale and its local businesses.
A total of 16 musical artists and bands are set to hit the stage on June 1. The lineup is diverse and dynamic with genres like Americana, indie-rock, world, hard-rock, pop, R&B, opera and more. Some artists include Artia Tobia, Conversing with Ocean, Hunter Road, The Men of Soul, George Dennehy, and more.
This year’s line-up of amazing talent performs on two main stages throughout the day as well as an all-new acoustic stage. Twelve bands from Scarsdale and the greater Tri-State area were chosen through an extensive selection process from over 70 submitted applicants.
This year’s Grand Tasting Village features elite wines from around the world, specialty cocktails, and food pairings. In addition, guests 21+ can also purchase beer and wine by the glass. Food trucks and other food vendors offer a selection of sweet and savory items. The Family Fun Zone features carnival games, face painters, arts and crafts, musical demonstrations, DIY and STEAM activities, sports, inflatables, and more.

Dead of Summer Music Festival announced its featured charity disc golf tournament at Hunter Park in Manchester, Vermont this July. The event spans two days – July 13 and 14 – and sees a stellar lineup of performers from all over.
Saturday July 13 is the main event featuring a one round recreational singles tournament. The following day consists of a doubles match. All entrants will have the opportunity to win some great prizes for the top finishers on both days, all for a good cause. This July is the 5th annual Dead of Summer Music Festival which boasts a large, diverse lineup of bands and solo artists.
Some headliners include Pink Talking Fish Ensemble, Neighbor, Max Creek, and many more. To support the fundraising effort, tee box sign sponsorships are currently available. Now and throughout the festival weekend, raffle tickets for some great band merchandise and other giveaways can be purchased.
The musical acts appear July 12, and continue throughout the disc golf tourney, until its closure on July 14. At least 18 bands see the two stages over three days at Hunter Park. The park is seated on 25 acres in the Green Mountains of Manchester Vermont. The festival features performances as well as RV camping and tent camping, over 25 vendors. This family friendly festival also offers 2 days of yoga, kid’s set, and tie dying. Gates open at 9am Friday July 12th.

Hudson Yards has unveiled its initial events for backyard programming including a mix of Family Day, Movie Screenings, Summer Concerts and more. The program begins Friday, May 3 and continues through August 7 in the Public Square & Gardens.
Fans will be able to watch the free weekly concerts at Hudson Yards, the newest neighborhood on Manhattanâs West Side. The Backyard at Hudson Yards concert series is located between 10th and 11th Avenue and between 30th and 34th Street.Â
Outdoor Entertainment
Once again, Hudson Yards and The Bowery Presents have teamed together to present an outdoor series of free, in-person performances in the Public Square & Gardens every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. with world-class performers from June 19 through August 7. The lineup will feature performances by artists including Chayce Beckham on June 19, David Archuleta on June 26, Brynn Cartelli on July 10, Ray Bull on July 17 and Keke Palmer on August 7. Hudson Yards will unveil the performers for July 3, July 24, and July 31 in the coming week at their website.
The Public Theater Performances
The renowned Public Theater will bring Shakespeare to Backyard at Hudson Yards this summer as a part of its Mobile Unit series with 10 free, open-to-the-public performances of the bilingual musical adaptation in English and Spanish of The Comedy of Errors. Fans will enjoy a twist on the classic show featuring contemporary rhythms across Latin America with performance dates ranging from June 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 20, and 21.
Family Day
Family Day, a fantastic set of family-friendly events all day long, starts off Backyard’s Family Fun programming on May 18. Family day will include a WonderSpark Puppet Show, a special Mozart concert for Munchkins, and a movie screening on the 30-foot Big Screen on the Public Square & Gardens. Along with plenty of family-friendly dining and shopping options, kids will enjoy face painting and personalized balloon sculptures created by balloon artists inside The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards.
Coinciding with Family Day, every month, the beloved New York Public Library will offer a free immersive storytime at Backyard with books, songs, and rhymes for the young reader (ages 0 to 12). After story time, kids can take part in a group art project. Throughout the event, visitors will be able to sign up for a library card and learn more about free programs and resources available through the New York Public Library system.
Sports Watch Parties
Hudson Yards has also announced they will host Sports watch parties. Backyard will feature hundreds of live-streamed games, series, and tournaments on The Big Screen. These will include the most popular international sporting events and games, such as cricket, sailing, horse racing, baseball, basketball, golf, Formula 1 races, hockey, football, soccer, tennis, and more. Upcoming special viewing parties include the Kentucky Derby airing on May 4, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Race on May 5, with a Cinco de Mayo party at Verano, and The Wells Fargo Championship PGA TOUR event airing from May 9 – 12.
Power Hour
Starting on May 14th, there will be free courses in yoga, Pilates, and dance cardio fitness on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on the Public Square & Gardens. Level 2 of The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards is home to the upscale wellness and athletic company Alo Yoga, which is offering classes there. With each in-store class, Alo Yoga will be giving away a gift card. Alo Flow, Alo Power Flow, Alo Dance Cardio, and Alo Mat Pilates will be taught by well-known influencer fitness instructors, such as Victoria Rodriguez, Sarah Wolff, Lulu Soni, Kayla Principato and Serena Tom .
Backyard at Hudson Yards will kick off on May 3, and fans will get a chance to enjoy a full season of outdoor programs featuring a jam-packed calendar of free concerts, live sports screenings, theater performances, fitness classes, and more. Rock group The FMs have announced the upcoming “Frankie Fest” music festival honoring the late Frankie Rex in Coney Island this May 11. The festival sees a stellar lineup of NYC queer bands and performers and marks the festival’s inaugural opening.
The event will also serve as the record release party for PINK + BLACK and features the first performance from The FMs in over four years – and the first-ever without Frankie. Frankie Fest highlights a range of cutting-edge, NYC-based queer performers showcasing indie rock, goth, riot grrrl, punk, metal, and more. Featured acts include Pink Velvet Witch, Jordan Fiction, Villains, Llynks, The FMs, Frida Kill, Miss Cherry Delight and more.
Their sophomore double album was completed the moment the pandemic started. It is now making its release after the tragic death of singer Frankie Rex in 2022. The material highlights the group’s love of analog synthesizers combined, ethereal guitars and takes a more emotionally dynamic turn. This contrasts their debut album spanning themes from sexual irreverence, the nature of dreams and human connection, to hope for the future of gender freedom.
The show begins May 11 in Coney Island. Doors for the show open at 4pm and music lasts until 10pm. The FMs will release PINK + BLACK on May 10.

The Music is Art Festival announced its grand return to Buffalo‘s AKG Art Museum after a seven-year hiatus on September 21 at Buffalo State University.
This year’s festival promises an eclectic mix of music, live performances, art installations, and interactive experiences. The Music is Art Festival has always been a beacon of artistic expression and cultural gathering in Buffalo. The festival showcases what the creative and bright community has to offer. The scenic AKG and Buffalo State campus provide a canvas for Buffalo’s artistic prowess and vibrance.
