Young American Rapper from Atlanta, Georgia by the name of ‘Young Nudy’ made an appearance in Upstate New York this past week. On March 28 at The Westcott Theater, Nudy continued his 2023 Tour, acknowledging the debut of his new album Gumbo released this past February.
Nudy combines hip-hop, rap and elements of contemporary R&B throughout his songs. Best known for his mixtapes “Slimeball” (2016), “Slimeball 2” (2017), and “Slimeball 3” (2018). His breakout album was deemed to be “Sli’merre” including a collaboration with Pierre Bourne released in 2019. This album is associated with several other big names that worked on the project such as 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Uzi Vert.
As the crowd awaited Young Nudy’s entrance, the show began with multiple opening rappers, by the names of 4L Quan, 4L G5ive, 2FeetBino and 21 Lil Harold, warming up the fans and engaging the hype for the headliner’s performance.
Before hitting the stage, the lights went dark, and fans went wild lighting up the stage with their flashlights as Nudy jumped out in front opening with fan favorite ‘Project X’ off his debut “EA Monster”.
Throughout the show, the rapper performed many of his top hits including ‘Loaded Baked Potato’, ‘No Clue’, ‘Impala’, ‘Extendo’, ‘Mister’, ‘Peaches & Eggplants’ and ‘Blue Cheese Salad’. As this was his first show in Syracuse, Nudy put on quite the show.
Throughout the show Nudy yelled to his fans, “When I say slime, you say ball, “Slime-Ball” “Slime-Ball””, connecting with the crowds hype which acknowledged Nudy’s well known triple album “SlimeBall”.The name SlimeBall comes from some of his most recognized albums to this day as the name and nickname carries through many of his albums and songs.
To close out Nudy’s show, he played, “EA (feat. 21 savage) from the Slimeball 2 album, following with ‘Shrimp’ from the latest album Gumbo that jumpstarted the 2023 Young Nudy Tour. We look forward to see what Young rapper Nudy does next in his music career.
King of punk rap music Curtis Waters brought the Bad Son Tour to the iconic Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn. As part of his first ever headline tour, with help from Tommy Richman and Jonah Roy, Curtis Waters turned Baby’s All Right into an anticapitalist-rock paradise for an incredible show.

Curtis Waters is a rising star in the music industry, known for his infectious beats, catchy lyrics, and fearless experimentation with various genres. Born in Nepal and raised essentially everywhere, Waters has been making music since his early teens and honed his skills through online collaborations with other musicians around the world. His breakthrough hit, “Stunnin’,” which he produced, wrote, and performed, went viral on TikTok in 2020 and propelled him to mainstream success.
Since then, Waters has continued to push boundaries with his music, blending elements of hip-hop, rap, and punk to create a unique sound that better reflects who he is and resonates with fans worldwide. Hailing from Woodbridge, Virginia, Tommy Richman is a certified star. Tommy’s passion for music started at a young age, when he began taking voice lessons and singing in his church choir. After dropping out of college to pursue his dreams, Tommy persevered and has become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. With hit releases such as “Star Girl”, Richman’s music gives us a glimpse into the mind of a true musical genius. Richman just released “Wish I Never Knew You”, produced by him and Jonah Roy. The energy of the show was absolutely unmatched. From start to finish, the concert was akin to an eventful burst of a supernova, with support from Jonah DJing and playing guitar all night, to opening up the pit during every single song – even launching himself off the stage to mosh with the people. Between the jumping and yelling, there were sentimental moments, like when two dedicated fans presented Curtis with a specialized “Most Humble Musician” award and a brand new tie he wore at the rest of the stops on tour. While there was a general set list, because the crowd was so engaged with the show, he performed a never before seen song, specifically requested by his self proclaimed biggest fan. Riding off the high of the buzzing crowd, Curtis and friends left the stage to interact with fans after the show, showering them with support and admiration for the hardcore show. From anticapitalist rants to heartfelt speeches about success, anyone who attended the show is already counting down the days until the next time they can attend a Curtis Waters concert.

Multi-genre hitmaker Jelly Roll has announced his 2023’s Backroad Baptism Tour with the 44-city arena tour making a stop at Darien Lake Amphitheater in Darien Center, on August 3, 2023.

Rochester’s It’s Just Al has just dropped “First Impressions,” a catchy tune for his first ever Spotify release. The song emphasizes a rap about a love that makes you constantly want to be with your significant other because of how real it is. Alex raps about how his love is like a drug, specifically cocaine.
When Alex was just twelve years old, his mother fell ill with a disease called vasculitis. This is when your immune system hurts your blood vessels by mistake. Over the next few months since diagnosis, Alex watched his mother grow weaker until her passing on Friday June 15th, 2018. For the next four years of his life Alex would deal with his grief in silence, only for it to be washed away when he heard his first ever rap song, mockingbird by Eminem.
From that day on, Alex fell in love with the emotional side of rap music. He became heavily inspired to make others feel happy inside, just as he felt when he listened to Eminem for the first time.
