    The Grandstand Jockeys – “Gun”

    The Grandstand Jockeys are from Waterford, New York, combining hard-edge rock with pop sensibilities. Their newest EP &​$​how is out now. “Gun” from the EP will be played on EQXposure.

    Sime Gesuz -“What’s Your Problem”

    “I’m laid-back, the quieter dude in the room, just chilling,” said Simon Grimes. Since 2004, Grimes has produced and rhymed under the name Sime Gezus. He hosts a weekly radio show on WSPN College-based 91.1 FM to promote local and underground hip-hop. “What’s Your Problem” is out now.

    Josh Morris – “Ready For Your Love”

    Hailing from NYC, Josh Morris has cultivated an identity all his own while taking inspiration from artists such as The 1975, Jeff Buckley, and Pearl Jam. Concealed underneath his playful lyrics are conversations we should all be engaging in. The music itself is consistently supported by thoughtfully executed production and laser-focused performances. His first single “Ready For Your Love” is out now.

    Ciarra Fragale -“County Line”

    Ciarra Fragale is an indie pop singer/songwriter, producer, and actor from the Hudson Valley. She blends nostalgia with new-wave songwriting, creating a unique blend.     toriendofstory- “Cool For Now”

    toriendofstory is an indie-pop songwriter and singer from Albany. Some of her musical influences include Adele and Maggie Rogers, tying them into her music. She fuses powerful ballads and indie-style production to create a universally loved sound. She takes her listeners on a journey through relatable emotions, bringing people together with her range and strong vocals.

    B.Chaps/Freedom Stratton– “Sundaze”

    B. Chaps and Freedom Stratton are both MCs, born and raised in Albany. B. Chaps comes from an instrumentalist background with experience as a songwriter, producer, and engineer. Additionally, he has experience working in Albany’s premier studio. Freedom Stratton comes from a performance background. He is a trained actor, dancer, and vocalist with formal education in performing arts schools. Together the two have amassed millions of streams and worked with many reputable labels and artists.

    Small Ghosts is a noisey rock band from Troy, formed in 2022, featuring members from a number of well-respected northeast bands. Their first record BLEED was released in June.

    Architrave- “Twitch of the Wing”

    Architrave is a synth-pop duo from Ballston Spa, made up of Jennifer Maher Coleman and Paul Coleman. Their unique blend of synth and alternative sounds makes listeners really enjoy them, and their new single off of their upcoming album Out of My Mind and Into Yours is out now.

    Bars Homer- “Lo”

    Bars Homer is a solo project created by multi-instrumentalist Paul Lambert based out of Saratoga Springs in 2023.

    Gozer-“The Beast That Lies”

    Gozer are a band also from Albany, consisting of members Mykah Dillenger, Sean Murphy, Nick Kossor, and Seth Maset. They are an original hard rock band and music contributors to various podcasts/movies. Their track “The Beast That Lies” from their March 2023 release The Far Realm will be played on EQXposure.

    Grandstand Jockeys-“Change”

    Grandstand Jockeys is a group from Waterford, New York, combining hard-edge rock with pop sensibilities. Their EP Place is out now, and their song “Change” from the EP will be played on EQXposure.

    Merci Van – “Oppenheimer”

    Merci Van is from Saratoga Springs and makes synth post-folk music. Members are Alicia Macier Van Scoy, Ed Cormac, and Katlyn Celentano. Their new single “Irrational Anthems” is out now.

    Caity Gallagher – “Worth Remembering”

    Caity Gallagher is a rootsy singer/songwriter based in Albany, who uses lifting vocals and empowering lyrics to tell universally relatable stories. She started playing piano at age seven and guitar at sixteen, and has been compared to the likes of Jackson Browne and Carole King. Her newest EP Something Worth Remembering is out now on streaming platforms, with the song “Worth Remembering” having a spot on Sunday’s EQXposure.

    Kirsti Blow – “Last Cigarette”

    Kirsti Blow is a singer/songwriter hailing from Upstate New York, recognized for her soft voice and unforgettable instrumentals. Her new album Loose Ends, written over the course of two years, explores the feelings of of elation and fear, love and disillusionment, and the changing seasons while traveling in the US and Spain. “Last Cigarette” will hold a spot on EQXposure this Sunday.

    Julica Dann – “Side Grit”

    Julica Dann is Erica Ann’s indie/electro music-making Gemini Twin. She has been making music and involved with bands for years but wanted to branch out to do completely solo music. She started with an old drum machine making beats along with her bass playing skills and has grown to include computer samples as well. Her song “Side Grit” off of her record On Hold, released in 2019, will be played on EQXposure.

    Prom Sex – “The Thinker”

    Prom Sex is a DIY noise rock project from Upstate New York. Originally starting as an experimental noise project fronted by Alex Furnia, it has since developed into an electric, rock-oriented group, enlisting the songwriting talent of Alex’s twin brother Nick on later EPs and their most recent album, DEATH OF THE BODY.

    Brian Kaplan – ”Harder to Stay”

    Award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording artist Brian Kaplan has fronted his genre-bending original projects since 2001. His original music has made its way onto the playlists of some of the most prominent regional radio stations in the Northeast. His various projects have opened for or shared the stage with such monster acts as BB King, blink-182, moe., Widespread Panic, Jerry Garcia Band, and more.

    Jess Jones- “Souvenier”

    Jess Jones is a free spirit born and raised in Esperance. She studied classical voice and guitar at the Crane School of Music and has performed at venues such as the Hotel Cafe, the Orange County Fair, the 2019 NAMM Show, and Rockwood Music Hall. She loves to borrow the picking styles of Paul Simon, James Taylor, and John Denver. 

    E.R.I.E-“Bad Mans World”

    E.R.I.E. is a Capital region-based indie rock quartet. What began as a passion project developed by singer/songwriter TJ Foster has turned into a fully formed quartet, bringing energetic live shows to eager audiences. Their most recent album Suburban Mayhem is out now.

    Annie Scherer-“Everywhere I Go ( Everybody’s the Same)”

    Annie Scherer is a Voorheesville native, merging her love of rock ‘n roll classics with her passion for alternative music to produce her own unique sound. Her emotional lyrics and haunting melodies have been heard live from New York to Tennessee, releasing her first full-length album Garden Bed in March 2021.

    10:01-“Flying Home”

    Formed in Averill Park, NY, 10:01 is an alternative rock group that combines a modern indie sound with influences of blues and rock. Their new single “Flying Home” is out now.

    The Sugar Hold-“Walk of Shame”

    The Sugar Hold are indie surf rock band based in Schenectady. Fairly new to the scene, they are known for their hard-partying ways and their funny off-the-wall songs and lyrics.

    Modern Fools– “Misery”

    Modern Fools don’t fall into just one genre, creating music that can be classified as country, folk, alternative, or even indie. Last year they released the track “Misery,” tune into EQXposure on Sunday to hear it.

    Reese Fulmer – “Leaving a Dream”

    Reese Fulmer and his Carriage House Band are quickly rising stars in the Capital Region. Fulmer is a bit of an old soul, and his music is reminiscent of Justin Townes Earle, Jeffrey Foucault, John Prine, and Iron & Wine. He will be performing at the Hollow in Albany on April 22, and tickets are on sale here.

    Northern Faces-“18”

    Northern Faces is a rock band formed in 2012 featuring Bryan Shortell and Marco Testa on vocals and guitars, and Matt Ippolito on bass. Their single “18” was released on March 17.
