  • Jonas Brothers Announce Two Nights at Yankee Stadium

    Jonas Brothers are returning to New York State with two massive shows at Yankee Stadium on Aug. 12 and 13, performing five albums each night, including their new album The Album which features the upcoming single “Waffle House,” out this Friday, April 7.

    The Jonas Brothers recently wrapped up their five-night Broadway residency, each night dedicated to an album or era of theirs. They will be returning to the state for two nights at Yankee Stadium on Aug. 12 and 13, catering to fans of all ages by performing all their different records each night. Their new single “Waffle House,” releases via Republic Records on Friday, April 7, launching a new era for the band’s latest full-length record The Album, executive produced by Jon Bellion, set for release on May 12.

    The Jonas Brothers took the world by storm in 2019 with the surprise release of their critically acclaimed and widely successful single “Sucker” following a six-year hiatus. The single has since become 5x-platinum and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, becoming the first #1 for the band and the first #1 debut from a group this century. The band went on to release Chasing Happiness, an Amazon Original film documenting the brothers’ rise and return to music before going on to deliver their third #1 album with the arrival of their platinum-selling Happiness Begins.

    The band has won multiple awards, including three in the categories of “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Radio Songs Artist,” and “Top Radio Song” for “Sucker” at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, a 2019 MTV VMA for “Best Pop Video,” “Best Duo/Group” at the 2020 iHeart Music Awards, and two Teen Choice Awards, including the prestigious “Decade Award.” They have garnered a Grammy nomination and an American Music Award nomination as well.

    This Saturday, April 8, the band will be performing on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest for the third time alongside host Molly Shannon.

    There will be multiple presale options for each night, including a Citi and Verizon presale starting April 12. Fans who previously registered for the Broadway shows will have the opportunity for first access to tickets with a special Verified Fans on sale, more information is available through email.   • Jerry Garcia Bobblehead Games Announced for August at Yankee Stadium

    Jerry Garcia Bobblehead games are once again on the schedule for August at Yankee Stadium. Yankee Stadium is extending the bobblehead games this year, starting on Garcia’s birthday, and continuing until Aug. 5.

    This marks the second series of bobblehead games at the stadium featuring the late Grateful Dead frontman, the first of which was last year for what would’ve been Garcia’s 80th birthday.

    Jerry Garcia was an American musician from San Francisco and co-founder of the rock band Grateful Dead, which gained popularity during the counterculture of the 1960s. While he is considered by many to be the leader of the Grateful Dead, Garcia never embraced the title. The band’s career birthed 13 studio albums over nearly 30 years, officially breaking up shortly before Garcia’s death in 1995, although pre-recorded live albums continued to be released following his death. Garcia, along with his Grateful Dead bandmates, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

    A portion of every ticket sold will support the Rex Foundation. Special tickets must be purchased for the Jerry Garcia Bobblehead Games at Yankee Stadium. Each Special Event Ticket includes a New York Yankees Jerry Garcia Bobblehead. The New York Yankees will verse the Tampa Bay Rays for the first two games on Aug. 1-2, and the Houston Astros for the next four games, from Aug. 3-6. Prices vary by date and seating selection.

  • A Boogie Releases Video Performance for ‘Secrets’

    On the heels of his latest studio album, Me Vs Myself, A Boogie wit da Hoodie has teamed up wit Vevo for a performance video of his song “Secrets” as part of the music video network’s Ctrl series. Vevo’s Ctrl series highlights the work of hard-hitting, cutting-edge musicians making an impact in today’s music scene – both emerging and established. A Boogie’s performances follow sessions from Rick Ross, Common, Push T, Fat Joe, Jeezy, Jadakiss, Fabolous, A$AP Ferg and more. The Bronx native also previously worked with Vevo in 2015 for two “Live at Vevo” sessions featuring “Drowning” and “The Bigger Artist.”

    A Boogie Secrets

    As for this latest video performance, A boogie maintains his melodic fervor as he expounds on dealing with fame and status. The maturity in tone, subject matter and music choice is evident in-between his Vevo live performances. However, his nonchalant flows, memorable hooks, trap beats that make plenty of room for melody, and the occasional hint of R&B smoothness are all still part of the A Boogie package that have kept him as a major label star for nearly a decade.

    In 2022, Boogie continued his commercial hot streak as many hit-records spawned from 2020’s Artist 2.0 and Me vs. Myself. In addition, Boogie handled some of the production on Me vs. Myself. Consequently, the album debuted in the Top Ten of the Billboard charts.

  • French Montana and DJ Drama Add Latest Edition To Coke Boys Mixtape Series

    French Montana returns with the latest edition of his signature mixtape series. Hosted by DJ Drama, Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition, is a combined Gangsta Grillz and Coke Boys presentation, featuring a host of up-and-comers and established names. Bronx native — French Montana — debuted the Coke Boys series in 2010 and followed it with his first national tour. At the time, Montana represented everything authentic coming out of the Bronx, bringing a new sound and wave. In like manner, the “Unforgettable” rapper presents the next generation of trendsetters from the Bronx and the rest of New York.

    DJ Drama & French Montana’s Vision

    The 29-track LP seems to be a mashup of precocious and established artists from the East and South. While French Montana recruited the best from New York, DJ Drama is no stranger to artist discovery himself. The legendary DJ has hosted projects with some of hip hop’s premier acts and has (despite hailing from Philadelphia) established himself as a major figure in the southern rap scene. Together, the duo bring the essence of the Coke Boys and Gangta Grills era, while showcasing rising stars.

    Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition sees up-and-comers the likes of Dthang, Bando Gz, King Combs, Rob 49, EST Gee, get to showcase themselves along with more established stars like A$AP Rocky, Kodak Black and French Montana himself.

    As always, the Moroccan born Montana will look to provide an authentic street presence to the Coke Boys 6 while bringing a fresh idiosyncratic sound to complement them, the same way he made his name over a decade ago.
