Country star Morgan Wallen announces One Night at a Time 2023 World Tour along with the release of three singles, “One Thing At A Time,” “Tennessee Fan,” and “Days That End In Why.”

Wallen wrote in an Instagram statement that “2023 is gonna be a special year… I got a lot in store for y’all and thought we’d start with this,” alluding to the tour drop. This tour comes off the heels of his wildly successful 55-city Dangerous Tour, that wrapped up on Oct. 8.
Morgan Wallen has over 12.3 billion on-demand streams, multi-platinum certifications and seven chart-toppers at Country radio. His critically-acclaimed, 4x platinum ACM Album of the Year Dangerous: The Double Album topped 2021’s all-genre Billboard 200 Albums year-end chart with 4.1 million units sold earning him 2022 Billboard Awards Country Male Artist top honor.
Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour. I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the Dangerous album the way they did. I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is – I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have. It feels like new songs are pouring out of me, and I love that feeling. We are going to run it back next year with the One Night At A Time World Tour. Bigger venues. New countries. Bigger memories. See y’all there.
Morgan Wallen
The tour kicks off in New Zealand before returning to the US. Morgan Wallen will be performing at MetLife Stadium on May 20 with special guests Parker McCollum, ERNEST, and Bailey Zimmerman. Tickets are being sold through a verified fan sale, and for more information on that and to sign up, go here.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals have released their first EP in more than a decade, The Roosevelt Sessions, with a national tour kicking off in November. The jazz-laden four-track cut is sprinkled with biting political satire, nostalgic samples that romanticize life in New York, and their signature world-weary commentary on rising above a life of crime.
The last album of original music from Fun Lovin’ Criminals was Classic Fantastic, released in 2010, and The Roosevelt Sessions gives fans a taste of the new Criminals sound ahead of more new music slated for release in 2023. The trio features multi-instrumentalist Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser on lead vocal duties following the departure of Huey Morgan in November last year; drummer Frank Benbini and guitarist Naim Cortazzi, formerly with the Manchester band Happy Mondays and soul star Beverley Knight, to restore the trio.
“Shake It Loose”, the second track on the EP, addresses the mental health issues that inspired Fast and Frank to create new music and perform to their fans worldwide after the departure of Morgan.
With silky backing vocals from Benbini, Fast, with his smokey Brooklyn drawl, laments, “back then you didn’t listen, to what was true, now it’s all we wanna hear from you. It’s not about right, it’s not about wrong.”
Fun Lovin’ Criminals are entering a new chapter, with a steely focus on creating new music that our fans will love. Our new EP is a return to our gritty early days in NYC, particularly with the way the music has been composed.
Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser
Fun Lovin’ Criminals began in 1993 after Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser met Huey Morgan at The Limelight nightclub in NYC. Their debut album Come Find Yourself reached no.7 in the UK charts and was certified Platinum in the UK and Gold in the Netherlands. The biggest hit “Scooby Snacks” contains dialogue from Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. The track peaked at no.12 in the UK singles chart in 1997 and was certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in July 2022.
Fun Lovin’ Criminals Fall Tour dates can be found below, with the tour kicking off in Boston on November 3, and stopping in their hometown of Brooklyn on November 4 at Elsewhere.
Depeche Mode, the influential English electronic duo of Martin Gore and Dave Gahan, will embark on their first tour in over five years, in support of the band’s forthcoming studio album, Memento Mori, due in Spring 2023. They’ll make one stop in the Empire State at Madison Square Garden on April 14, before heading over the Europe for four months of shows across the continent. Stella Rose & The Dead Language will join as support. Just announced – they’ll play later this year at MSG on October 28, with an additional performance at Barclays Arena on October 21.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2020 inductees, Depeche Mode remains an ever-evolving and singularly influential musical force. An indelible inspiration to fans, critics and artists alike, Depeche Mode continues to press on as the Memento Mori album and tour represents the opening of the newest chapter of a peerless and ongoing legacy.
We started work on this project early in the pandemic, and its themes were directly inspired by that time. After Fletch’s passing, we decided to continue as we’re sure this is what he would have wanted, and that has really given the project an extra level of meaning.
Martin Gore
Fletch would have loved this album. We’re really looking forward to sharing it with you soon, and we can’t wait to present it to you live at the shows next year.
Dave Gahan
Memento Mori (Latin for “remember that you must die”) will be Depeche Mode’s 15th studio album and the follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed Spirit. Memento Mori will be released worldwide in Spring 2023 via Columbia Records.
Opening Acts for Depeche Mode
Darkly poetic and industrial leaning, Stella Rose and her band The Dead Language have graced venues all over their native New York City and Brooklyn. With a confidence that belies the band’s relative newness, The Dead Language has quickly built a distinctive sonic and visual identity on the foundation of Stella Rose’s lyricism and stage presence. Myles Mullen completes The Dead Language’s assault on the senses, painting the stage with imagery that meshes with and reacts to the music, creating a visceral story for the audience. The result is utterly unique and new—while paying homage to the downtown NYC golden age(s) that gave us the Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, Blondie, and Warhol’s Factory. Stella Rose’s first two singles, “Muddled Man” and “Angel” were released in Fall 2022.
Wales-born London-bred musician and producer Kelly Lee Owens’ unique melding of electronic music’s coolness and warmth has built her an eclectic following of fans, critics, and fellow musicians including St. Vincent, Bjork, John Cale, and of course Depeche Mode. With vocals as confident and captivating as her beats, Owens has built a formidable solo discography that includes the albums Kelly Lee Owens, Inner Song, and her latest record LP.8, released in spring 2022 to unanimous critical praise, including Clash magazine’s lauding its “giant leap in her evolution as an artist, continuing to build on an ever-growing discography of limitless promise”

Sci-fi Middle Eastern fusion prog rockers Consider the Source announced their fall “Maxx Power Tour” and released a cover video of Opeth’s “Death Whispered a Lullaby”.
Maxx Power Tour
Consider the Source is a Sci-fi fusion trio blends progressive rock and improvisatory jazz, soaked in Indian and Middle Eastern styles. Their latest electric album, You Are Literally a Metaphor, reaches a peak of their fifteen-year musical journey. It includes he same fury and dazzling virtuosity of their previous work, Metaphor is also a portrait of three musicians reaching new levels of maturity.
Consider the Source
The “Maxx Power Tour” will be their return to a fully electric performance since they performed a hybrid acoustic electric tour with their “Hybrid Vol. 1: Such As A Mule”. From the bluesy swing of “When You’ve Loved and Lost Like Frankie Has” to the ethereal electro-synths of “Sketches From a Blind Man”, they continue to infuse minimalist pop, progressive metal, and freewheeling improvisation in their omnivorous musicality.
Three of Metaphor’s nine songs are Eastern European traditionals. Bassist John Ferrara’s new Taurus bass pedals and guitarist Gabriel Marin’s new custom Vigier double-neck guitar add new dimensions to the band’s already diverse sound.
As for their new cover music video, Opeth is one of the few bands who influenced the three of Consider the Source individually during our adolescent years and later collectively as a group.
They write extended compositions that are emotionally dark and brilliantly tie together sections of extreme heaviness with mellow acoustic passages. Their top-notch production, tight rhythms and catchy melodies have become something we strive for in our own original music. We’ve wanted to cover one of their songs for a long time but couldn’t pick just one favorite. We hope you enjoy our interpretation of “Death Whispered A Lullaby” with a couple of our favorite riffs added in at the end from “Closure” and “Deliverance”.

Phish played the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on August 2, following a night off after a fantastic run in Maryland. The Blossom Music Center is a special place, a beautiful wooden, wedge-like structure nestled in the forests of Ohio. If you are from New York, I would highly recommend you make the trip if you have not yet, it’s certainly up there with the best sheds around. This was my first time there, but it certainly won’t be my last.
The band started the night off with a nice acapella version of “Strawberry Fields Forever,” which they played for only the second time. “Crowd Control” was up next, and then a mid-set “Punch You In The Eye.” After this was a short “46 Days” before delighting the crowd with a “You Enjoy Myself.” They did a short vocal jam before dropping back into another second “YEM” jam, which the crowd ate up. Keeping the funk going, was a short “Tube” before slowing things down with a “Shade.” A gorgeous “Reba” was a perfect soundtrack to the color leaking from the sunset sky. They wrapped the set up with the staple set closer of “Cavern.”
Phish has really been feeling “Free” this summer, and they opened up the second set with a monster 25-minute version. “Esther” was next, which they unfortunately struggled through due to Trey’s guitar being out of tune. “Blaze On” followed, the jam was on the shorter side, and then Trey started off “Scents and Subtle Sounds.” As they worked their way through the composition, the sound twice completely cut out for a few seconds. The band played through it and either didn’t notice or they tried to make it up with what was probably the jam of the night. This version was heavy on the dark funk, with a gorgeous ambient outro. Maybe it was a nod to the night being the 19th anniversary of the IT music festival from 2003, which was the band at their peak in ambient jamming, but probably not. A short but sweet “2001” got the whole place dancing, before a wild and beautifully cacophonous “Split Open and Melt” had some in the crowd staring at the stage in awe.
It was amusing to see the confusion and then elation as the Page started up “Bathtub Gin” for the encore. Even though the band was a little bit short on time, they were able to cut out the fat and immediately get right to the good stuff as the jam matured into a some very opulent themes and textures before wrapping up the night.
Phish Blossom Music Center – Cuyahoga Falls , OH 8/2/22
Soundcheck: Funky Bitch, My Soul, Crowd Control (this soundcheck is possibly incomplete)
Set 1: Strawberry Fields Forever, Crowd Control, Punch You in the Eye > 46 Days > You Enjoy Myself, Tube > Shade, Reba, Cavern
Set 2: Free > Esther > Blaze On > Scents and Subtle Sounds > Also Sprach Zarathustra > Split Open and Melt
Encore: Bathtub Gin
Strawberry Fields Forever was performed for the first time since July 22, 2017 (168 shows). Fish quoted Strawberry Fields Forever in the YEM vocal jam and in the jam that followed. Trey teased Also Sprach Zarathustra at the end of Gin.
God knows we all love a good gimmick. Especially when it wildly exceeds our expectations and produces something that is profoundly eye-opening, or in this case, ear-opening! Such is the case with Uncaged, an album of much-loved rock covers, rendered in a supremely deep and darkly delicious heavy metal style, by Milwaukee-based lap steel slasher, Sean Williamson, aka Velocihamster.
Album art by Steven Bossler
For those not in the know, the lap steel guitar, also known as Hawaiian guitar, is a steel stringed guitar, sans pedals and frets, that is played with a slide in an open tuning while laid across a player’s lap. It was an outgrowth of Hawaii’s popular slack-key guitar style, which was incredibly popular in the earliest decades of the record industry. Like the traditional guitar, the lap steel would become electrified in the 1930s and eventually be employed in other musical styles – jazz, blues, gospel and especially country and Western swing. While not as popular or utilized as its cousins the traditional pedal steel or dobro, the lap steel has been a standout instrument in the hands of artists of the past like Roy Smeck and modern era ones like L.A. session ace and Jackson Browne sideman David Lindley.
In Williamson’s hands, the lap steel is another animal all together. It’s a roaring, screaming beast, an instrument of melodic assault and chordal crunch that brings to the ears a virtuosity that is way more Van Halen (Sean taps his ass off here too) than Bob Willis and The Texas Playboys.
Williamson has super-charged his lap steel with EMG humbucker-styled pickups, the kind favored by Judas Priest’s K.K Dowling, Primus’ Les Claypool, Metallica’s James Hetfield and dozens of other metal mavens. His sound is thick, lush, layered and fuzzy, with his instrument further empowered with everything from distortion and chorus pedals to wah wah and harmonizer.
My favorite tracks are the instrumentals. His mysterioso take on Led Zeppelin’s Middle Eastern-y “In the Evening,” his jam on Edgar Winter’s “Frankenstein” and his uber dirty, nasty interpretation of the Sneaker Pimp’s “6 Underground.” Williamson does the Beastie Boys proud with his wanky, wah wah driven cover of “Gratitude,” one for which he also provides the appropriately juvenile sounding vox (that’s a compliment, Sean!)
Another highlight is the album opener, a super-caffeinated version of Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades,” with a guest vocal by Alice Cooper bassist and Beasto Blanco frontman Chuck Garric. Williamson also admirably covers of classics like Santo & Johnny’s “Sleepwalk” and AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.” And while a lot of this is shred-centric, Williamson never loses sight of the melodies that have made these songs so memorable.
Uncaged is an album that will delight metal and classic rock lovers by breathing new life into songs you have heard hundreds of times before. But it does something even bigger. It uncages a sleep instrument in music’s arsenal and lets it roar and thrive in new avenues and genres of sound.
Grammy-nominated artist Post Malone has announced a month-long, 33-city North American tour that will see him headline UBS Arena at Belmont Park on October, 9 and Madison Square Garden three nights later. The “Twelve Carat Tour” comes on the heels of Post Malone’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Twelve Carat Tootache.
Produced by LiveNation, the tour kicks-off on September, 10 in Omaha, NE and will see Post Malone perform throughout the Mid-West before heading East for a layover of performances. The “Sunflower” crooner will grace the stage at DC’s Capital One Arena, The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and Newark’s Prudential Center. The East-coast portion of the tour culminates in performances at UBS Arena at Belmont Park on October, 9 — where Roddy Rich will make a guest-apperance — and Madison Square Garden on the 12th. The Twelve Carat Tour continues down south before concluding on November, 15 at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena.
Twelve Carat Tootache was released on June, 3 and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200. The album was heavily anticipated with the high-charting singles “Cooped Up,” “One Right Now” and “I Like You (A Happier Song),” and an all-star cast of features which includes Doja Cat, Gunna, Roddy Rich and The Weeknd.
Since coming onto the scene with his breakthrough hit “White Iverson,” Post Malone has become one of the most successful pop-stars of the last decade with 66 entries in the Billboard Hot 100 — including 11 top 10 hits — and is a 9-time Grammy-nominee. In 2019, he became youngest artist in history to have a total of three diamond-certified singles with the records “Congratulations,” “Rockstar” and “Sunflower” reaching the 10 million sales plateau.
Tickets for the Twelve Carat Tour are live at livenation.com

I’m especially excited for what this is leading into: the stuff that’s happening in the next few weeks, and the years to come.”
Founded in 2005, Riot Fest is an independent music festival featuring the best of punk, rock ‘n’ roll, hip hop, metal, alternative, and just about everything in between. Founder Riot Mike is credited with helping to reunite iconic bands like Naked Raygun, the Replacements, The Original Misfits, and Jawbreaker, among many other reunions—a staple of Riot Fest, alongside full album performances, carnival rides, and the occasional butter sculpture. It was named #1 Music Festival by USA Today, and in 2021 it was voted Best Music Festival in a poll for Chicago Reader. In addition to the festival, Riot Fest promotes shows year-round at a myriad of music venues across Chicago.
Tickets are now on sale for Riot Fest 2022 and can be purchased through the festival’s website here. Options for 1-day, 2-day and 3-day tickets are all available.
