Singer-songwriter, guitarist and drummer Rene Lopez has just released his new single, \u201cFlamingo\u201d. A master of cross-genre work, Lopez\u2019 single features Caribbean roots, rhythmic Jamaican ska drum loops, Cuban <\/a>son montuno with cha-cha-ch\u00e1 influence. \u201cFlamingo\u201d stands as a direct reflection of Lopez\u2019 multicultural upbringing in New York City, where he resides today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son of the famed Puerto Rican salsa musician and trumpet player Ren\u00e9 L\u00f3pez, Rene embraces the traditional roots of his father while incorporating his own unique musical influences, including soul, jazz, funk, and rock.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
