  • Postmodern Jukebox Announce Fall Tour, Making 5 Stops in New York

The world-renowned Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will be kicking off their worldwide tour with over 60 shows in the US and Canada this fall.

The time-twisting musical collective known for putting pop music in a time machine is set to make “The Grand Reopening Tour” bring PMJ back to thrill music-starved audiences, performing some of modern music’s biggest hits in the classic styles of bygone eras.

    postmodern jukebox

Just seven dates into the Welcome to the Twenties 2.0 Tour, PMJ creator Scott Bradlee pulled the tour off the road. With many of the shows sold out, a global pandemic took its toll, silencing live music for more than a year. The Grand Reopening Tour will feature an ensemble of multi-talented singers and musicians. Bringing Bradlee’s generation-spanning arrangements alive night after night. The core ensemble is often joined by surprise guests to make each concert unique and unpredictable.

Since embarking on a touring career in 2014, Postmodern Jukebox has performed on bigger and bigger stages. As they’ve traversed the globe, including memorable shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Most recently, PMJ reimagined the beloved theme from Friends via the evolution of music styles throughout the 20th century.

Goose will make September appearances at 4848 Festival in West Virginia, Bonnaroo in Tennessee, and stops over Halloween weekend at The State Theatre in Portland, ME over October 28 and 29, then at The Palladium in Worcester, MA from October 30-31.

Really fascinated to see the kind of energy we’re going to create with our fans this Fall. There’s really nothing like all being in the same room together, and it’s been so long, I have a feeling we’re going to see some really special nights…especially in all of these new places we’ve never played before.

    Peter Anpsach (vocals, guitar, keys)

The band will migrate to uncharted territory in November, beginning with inaugural Atlanta shows at recently constructed venue The Eastern. After making their New Orleans debut at The Republic on November 9, Goose will touch down in Texas for the first time, playing four shows in Houston, Austin, and Dallas. Tour concludes in Denver at Mission Ballroom, the band’s largest venue to date.

With the exception of the Mission Ballroom shows, a limited number of tickets to each fall date are now available through a fan lottery running today through Wednesday, May 19th at 5 PM ET. Entrants will be notified by end of day on Wednesday, May 19th.

Pre-sale tickets for Goose Fall Tour dates, including Terminal 5 and most other shows, will be available on Thursday, May 20th at 10 AM venue local time using the code ‘STOCKS’. General on-sale commences this Friday, May 21st at 10 AM venue local time.

For the Mission Ballroom shows, lottery will run until 5 PM venue local time on Wednesday, May 26th, followed by a presale from 10 AM – 10 PM local time on Thursday, May 27th. General on-sale begins on Friday, May 28th at 10 AM venue local time.

The Robinson Brothers, Chris and Rich, will front their classic 90s band, making three stop in New York State: September 14 at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, September 17 at Jones Beach, and the tour closer at Bethel Woods PAC on September 25.

  • Riot Fest Announces 2021 Daily Lineup, After Shows, Additions of Morrissey and Slipknot

UPDATE: Monday, August 23, 2021 – With Nine Inch Nails cancelling all 2021 tour dates, including this year’s Riot Fest, the festival has announced two major headliner additions.

Those who purchased a three-day or single-day Sunday ticket will now gain access to the festival’s Preview Party on Thursday, September 16, free of charge. Performing Thursday will be Morrissey, who will curate a selection of special guests to perform exclusively on Thursday. Plentiful vegetarian options will be offered by food vendors, following Morrissey’s tradition of no-meat at performances which will be honored across Douglass Park for the entire day on Thursday, September 16.

On Sunday, September 19, Slipknot will close the night out on the Riot Stage, bringing one of the most iconic metal acts ever to Riot Fest for the first time.

    Riot Fest

Riot Fest this fall returns to Douglass Park in Chicago over September 17–19, 2021 with their first in-person festival since 2019.  In an unprecedented move, festival organizers revealed the lineup for 2021, along with tickets for 2022.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Nine Inch Nails will headline the festival’s 2021 edition, alongside The Smashing Pumpkins and Run the Jewels. New additions for this fall’s lineup include Faith No More, a recently reunited Mr. Bungle, DEVO, NOFX, Dinosaur Jr., The Ghost Inside, Motion City Soundtrack, along with many others.

After quickly selling out 3-day passes for 2021, Riot Fest announced that for next year’s festival The Original Misfits, including Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, will headline Riot Fest 2022. The band will be performing their first album Walk Among Us in full for its 40th anniversary.

My Chemical Romance will also return to headline the festival’s 2022 edition, a hotly-anticipated reunion, finally realized. The group initially announced their reunion in 2019, playing a single show at Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles before postponing their entire sold-out North American tour—including a slot at Riot Fest—to 2022.

After the Jersey band’s 2013 hiatus fans have been waiting for another chance to catch My Chemical Romance live. Considering their reunion tour is sold out, Riot Fest is a great opportunity to snag tickets for 2022.

3-day passes for this and next year’s festivals are on sale now; single-day passes to this year’s festival will go on sale this week, alongside more band announcements for 2021. Previous ticket holders can purchase 2022 passes at a special price for a limited time; ticket transfers to next year, as well as refunds, are now available.

Safety measures regarding COVID-19 will be frequently updated, as directed by local health and public safety officials.

More info and tickets are on sale through Riot Fest’s website.

    Peach fest 2021

The Peach Music Festival started back in 2012 and has become a beloved annual festival in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It takes place every year at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain, a ski area in Scranton, PA. The festival unfortunately wasn’t able to take place like many other festivals in 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival will take place in 2021 as long as reopening plans in Pennsylvania continue according to plan. According to the New York Times, Pennsylvania is set to be fully opened by May 31. The festival includes camping, vendors, live music, and much much more. The announcement did not include information on what the festival would look like in terms of COVID-19 guidelines or other social distancing measures, but it can be assumed it will at least follow state and local guidelines.

Tickets for the festivities are on sale already. There are 2 types of non-VIP passes: a 4-Day Reserved Pass and a 4-Day GA Pass. The 4-Day Reserved Passes provide you a reserved seat in the Pavilion 100 level during headlining acts & the artist directly before the headlining acts.

Prior to those performances, everyone will have access to the 100 level except for a small portion that is reserved for a VIP viewing area. During the headlining performances, a 4-Day GA Pass will get you access to all remaining areas of the concert venue except for the 100 level and VIP areas. 2021 Wristbands will be shipped out approximately 3 weeks prior to the event. People who want to camp are required to purchase a Festival Pass + Camping Bundle. Currently there are 4 Day General Admission Passes available.

This year’s inductees includes Jay-Z and the Foo Fighters who only just became eligible this year. It also includes Carole King, Tina Turner, and The Go-Go’s, which is the first time three different women artists were inducted into the performers category in the same year. Dave Grohl (previously with Nirvana), Turner (previously with Ike Turner), and King (previously with Gerry Goffin) have all been inducted before. Turner and King follow Stevie Nicks as the only women to be inducted multiple times before.

This is the most diverse class of inductees in the history of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
