    Warden & Company – I Know You Know

    Warden & Company is a three piece band from Saratoga made up of Seth Warden, Doug Moody, and Brian Melick. They have been playing together since 2011, having started off as the backing band for local Irish music legend Kevin McKrell. The trio have also performed together as Seth and the Moody Melix, playing children’s songs written by Warden who is also a teacher. Warden & Company showcases the trio’s more ‘adult’ sound.

    Jay Birdface – Grow Again

    Jay was born and raised in Vermont and currently lives in Burlington. He says he’s been a fan of EQX since he was a teenager. “Grow Again” is his latest single, find him on Facebook and listen to more of his songs on Soundcloud.This is his latest.

    Luminous Crush – All The Words And More

    Luminous Crush from Jamaica, VT has shared the stage with Amy Helm, opening for her band at the Paramount Theater in Rutland, VT. Their first album was produced along with Grammy-winning Nashville songwriter and producer Felix McTeigue, and their newest LP Lumina is now available at Bandcamp. This is a new song not found on either of their previous releases.

    Architrave – Yellow Lines

    Check out this Ballston Spa band’s new album This Perfect Day at Bandcamp and Spotify. The Daily Gazette of Schenectady called it the “perfect pandemic album”. This song was inspired by a dream that singer Jen Coleman’s daughter had.

    No More Death Stars – Before the World Ends

    No More Death Stars is an indie/punk band from Glens Falls. They are Kevin Cardinale, Gina DiNardo, Eric Rothstein, and Kevin Stephenson. However, singer Kevin C plays all the instruments on this song which he recorded over a 12 hour period while in quarantine. This video features friends who were asked to send in funny videos of themselves listening to the song and all the best clips were selected for the final product.

    Jesse Sample – Really Girl

    Jesse is from Schenectady and this represents another side of what he’s been doing. The song features Tim “The Witchdoctor” Brosnan from The 7th Squeeze and Stellar Young on drums, Colin Abele, former bassist of Black Mountain Symphony, on bass. It also showcases the vocal styling of Jesse’s old roommate’s dog, The Dude. And that Dude’s got some pipes.

    Belle-Skinner – “Red

    Belle-Skinner is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer based out of Troy and Brooklyn. She describes this song as a blood moon western apocalyptic west world tune inspired by Exudos and The Grapes of Wrath and strangely enough, it was written and recorded before COVID-19 became a big thing.     The Abyssmals – “Let’s Forget

    This Schenectady bands unique psych-garage sound is influenced by everything from Nuggets-era classics, surf guitars, 70’s punk, Motown/Stax records, Britpop and Shoegazers of the 90’s, and Beyoncé. They’ve had music featured on various network and streaming series such as The Punisher, Nancy Drew, and Shameless. They say this song is for fans of Jesus and Mary Chain, Pulp, Ramones, karaoke, intimacy, and Nick-at-Nite.

    Paradisa – “Can’t Get Enough

    Straddling the line between hooky alternative rock and the musical freedom of the neo-progressive movement of the mid-2000s, Upstate New York’s paradisa is an amalgamation of influences, experiences, and viewpoints. Four longtime friends who found each other in various corners of the burgeoning punk & alternative scenes of Northern NY, the newly anointed band have found themselves searching for truth in a world of fallacies.

Built in Breakdance
