  • Infinite Spectrum To Hit The Road With Fates Warning

    NYC progressive metal drama rockers, Infinite Spectrum, will hit the road and support Fates Warning’s North American “Theories of Flight” summer tour. The tour will see several NY dates throughout the sixteen stops in the U.S. and Canada. Theories of Flight will take off on June 11, at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY, and return to the hangar on July 1, at the Brighton Music Hall in Allston, MA. Infinite Spectrum will end their run at the progressive themed Progpocalypse Now!, on July 15, at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.

    Other NY stops on the Theories of Flight tour are July 13 at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, July 14 at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh, July 16 at the Gramercy Theater in NYC and on July 20 at the Iron Works in Buffalo.

    Infinite Spectrum’s second album release, Haunter Of The Dark, is a full length concept album based on the horror fiction writings of author H.P. Lovecraft. Haunter Of The Dark was released in June 2016 and marks the band’s debut album on Sensory Records. The album songs tell the stories of Lovecraft’s writing’s in the way the band has interpreted them through their progressive metal meets theater style of music.

  • The Other Brothers Tour NY This Spring

    New Paltz area jazz, funk, and soul band, the Other Brothers, will hit the road for a spring tour around New York State, stopping in nine different cities from April through June, in some of the bands favorites venues to perform. The Other Brothers will also make a stop at the Pacific Standard Tavern in New Haven, CT. The tour kicked off at the Spinning Room in Tannersville, and will close on June 21 at the Angry Orchard in Walden.

    The Other Brothers TourThe tour will mark the first time The Other Brothers have performed in the cities of Nyack, New Haven, and Syracuse. Several acts will join The Other Brothers as support on select shows including Gang Of Thieves, Space Carnival, Formula 5, Theo Katzman, Eggy, Goose, and The New Daze.

    The Other Brothers are slated to perform at this years Disc Jam Music Festival in Stephentown, NY on June 8-11. The band’s sound and style have drawn comparisons to the likes of Stevie Wonder and D’Angelo. The band is currently recording their debut album titled Jones. The album will be released sometime during the fall of 2017.

    The Other Brothers consist of Chris Owens (vocals), John Morrison (guitar), Jordan Mendelson (bass guitar), Brandon Bera (drums), Gabe Marquez (keys), and Jared Nelson (percussion).

  • The Heavy Pets and Backup Planet to Co-Headline Spring Tour

    The Heavy Pets and Backup Planet will co-headline their spring 2017 tour, which will kick off March 17 at High Dive in Gainesville, Florida, and run until the end of April, right before festival season kicks off.Heavy Pets Backup Planet

    The tour will have a few N.Y. dates, including March 15, at Funk ‘n’ Waffles Downtown in Syracuse, March 19, at the Brooklyn Bowl, presented by Relix, and March 21, at the Hollow in Albany.

    Other dates include an Atlanta date at Aisle 5 on March 31, Gypsy Sally’s in Washington, D.C. on March 13 and Milkboy Philly on March 14, right before their N.Y. run, which is then followed by more dates in the South at the Raleigh Pourhouse on March 26, and Revelry Room in Chattanooga, TN on March 28.

    Florida quintet, the Heavy Pets, are Jeff Lloyd (guitar/vocals), Mike Garulli (guitar/harmonica/vocals), Jim Wuest (keyboard/vocals), Jamie Newitt (drums/vocals) and Tony D’Amato (bass). While they are described as an American rock band, their sound is made unique through a blend of reggae and funk. Their vocals are addicting and soothing, with an exemplary song craft that pulls it all together. Their double-disc debut album was an instant sensation on Sirius XM radio back in 2007, and they have continued to expand their fan base over the years through extensive touring.

    Backup Planet is Ben Cooper (keys/vocals), Chris Potocik (drums/vocals), Gavin Donati (guitar/vocals), and Blake Gallant (bass/vocals). Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, this quartet’s sound is a progressive funk-rock jam that mixes in other special elements like jazz, roots, electronic, and blues. Their performances are a live experimentation for how to improvise those elements into an unforgettable show, which has kept fans coming back for more and more, as their repertoire grows.

  • Bebe Rexha Announces ‘All Your Fault’ Tour

    Update 01/31/2017: Just announced, after her Irving Plaza show sold out in NYC, Bebe Rexha has added a second date inside The Big Apple on March 31, at the Warsaw, in Brooklyn.

    New York’s own, Bebe Rexha, has been one of the hottest, in demand rising stars over the last two years. The vocalist has not only been turning out her own hit tracks. Rexha, with her captivating unique voice, can be heard on many different chart topping tracks expanding multiple genres over the last couple of years.

    Bebe RexhaAfter opening for artists like Nick Jonas and Ellie Goulding, Rexha is ready to embark on her first headline tour. Rexha will have a busy month of March as the “I Got You” singer will hit 20 different cities across North America during the month in support of her first studio album titled All Your Fault: Pt1. The album, which the tour is named after, will be released on Feb. 17, courtesy of Warner Bros.

    The curtain will open March 1 at Trees in Dallas, Texas and take a final bow March 30 at the U Street Music Hall in Washington, D.C. Rexha will return home to New York and play NYC on March 29 at Irving Plaza.  Opening for Rexha on the first leg of the tour will be Daniel Skye.

    After being disrespected by some in the music business, Rexha made a name for herself against all odds on the heavily rock genre favored Vans Warped Tour in 2015. Since then, Rexha has dyed her hair blonde and has never looked back. Rexha lent her many talents to various artists in her young career either performing, writing or both on tracks for artists like Eminem, Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne, Nick Jonas and Iggy Azalea. Rexha has performed on many hit singles including “Take Me Home” (Cash Cash), “Hey Mama” (David Guetta), “Me, Myself & I” (G-Eazy) and “In The Name Of Love” (Martin Garrix).

  • Def Leppard and Poison To Hit The Road Together Again This Spring

    Def Leppard and Poison will reunite and hit the road together for the third time in in less than 10 years, with an extensive spring tour across North America that will hit 38 different cities across the United States and Canada. The two bands last toured together on the Rock Of Ages tour in 2012 that also featured Lita Ford.

    Kicking off on April 4, at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH, the tour will also feature Tesla in the opening slot for most of the shows. The tour is set to close on June 25 at the Klipsch Music Center in Indianapolis, IN.

    Cites in New York, and surrounding areas, that were missed during the 2016 tour will benefit from this go-around. The tour will make stops at the Bell Centre in Montreal on April 10, the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on April 12, and at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY on April 15. Tickets go on sale on Jan. 20 and Jan. 21  through Live Nation.

    Blabbermouth reports, when talking about the upcoming tour, Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliot stated:

    We’re thrilled to be able to take this tour to cities we didn’t play in 2016. The demand for us to return, or rather extend the tour was phenomenal! There’s a great buzz around the band right now and we’re loving the fact that we can do this with the latest album being so well received.

    Poison frontman Bret Michaels added:

    I could not be more excited. I know all of us will give one thousand percent on stage and we are looking forward to performing our hits together. I personally could not be more thankful for the three generations of fans and I love the music of Def Leppard and Tesla. This will be an amazing night of rock and roll. Don’t wait because god only knows.

    Def Leppard, who toured over 70 cities in 2016, will also headline some of the major rock festivals this summer including Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and River City Rockfest.

    This will also mark the first time in over five years that all the original members of Poison:  Bret Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall and Rikki Rockett, will take the stage together and perform. Rockett, who was diagnosed with oral cancer in 2015, is now cancer free.
